I always put the Aussie soaps together in my head, as there's repetition in storylines and crossover in actors!

SleepingStandingUp I just found myself going down the Wikipedia rabbit hole of previous characters and remembered Rachel the psychiatrist who had to swap to emergency medicine after having a relationship with her patient Kim Grin

I assume neighbours and Home and Away exist in the same universe so Martha is Elly but undercover or her adopted name or something

Martha is technically living somewhere with a different name, as she ran away with her people smuggling boyfriend. As far as I'm concerned she is pretending to be Elly after a case of identity theft. It's really just a storyline waiting to happen.

Yep I often find myself thinking that Mark and Elly might find more common ground if they discussed their witness protection experiences, and then remember.

At least Mark didn’t have to get horse teeth when he went into witness protection.

Yes and he's only just remembered he's actually called Shaw or whatever it was. So either Beckett Reid was undercover or a witness protection name
but they've just done the witness protection storyline with the Morgan's so couldn't be that again.

The irony of him turning out to be a cop after all......

My theory anyway.

Didn't they rule out the possibility of him being a police officer when he displayed impressive martial arts type skills shortly after turning up? Kat ran his prints through every database she could think of. I suppose if he was a super important undercover person they might hide his ID, even from the other police but surely someone with amnesia like that would be publicised nationally & someone who did know would come claim him. It always baffles me when people appear in soaps with amnesia & they have to wait until their memory comes back. They never seem to have parents/siblings/old family friends who recognise them... You'd have thought the police would make public appeals for information! Maybe amnesia is more common than I think & no-one's ever bothered that their loved one has randomly disappeared.

Who knows? They didn't finger him for the crimes of Beckett Reid at that stage. I just can't work out why he's remembered himself as someone else other than Beckett!

Maybe i have Aussie cops on the brain after binge watching Brax in Wanted!
