If I remember correctly, Max tried to sell the car lot back to Jay to raise money to save Abi and it was the same time that Max revealed that the whole dad dying in the car lot fire thing was to make him sell the car lot to Weyland. Jay refused to buy it so Max would still technically own it

Phil gave Jay the piece of land next to the car lot - its hazy though as we were all a bit confused by all that carry on - Jay did have some money for five minutes, then he got the job from Billy and nothing more was said about the land or the dosh. Jay sold the land to weyland then?

i agree that Witless parading around in her undies and having those ' come to bed eyes' peering at the screen was a bit much for quarter to eight on a tuesday. @SoupDragon, it was resolved by Max telling Jay that he made Phil tell him the lie so Jay would sell the car lot. The whole scene lasted about 1 minute and must have been the writers thinking ‘oh god, we better tie this bit up before we have to do something with it’

I suppose they would argue that the dodgy pics on line was about kids underage - whit n halfwit are consenting adults etc etc. still raunchy though.
Did Jay find out who his dad is? Phil lied about all that. Max was involved but it's vague as to why etc. EE was complicated back then! Lol
