Poor karen and she has grown on us. Just like carol branning did. Anyone who comes in with lots of kids and shouting etc - seems to warm the cockles of our hearts

Will kat /slaters stay or disappear again

Just popping on to say one of my neighbours has a real life tardis house!

2 up 2 down

Atleast 3 adults (no couple), a teenager and one small child full time. Sometimes an additonal 2 adults, a child and a baby.

Well the neighbour’s ‘friend’ stayed until after I left today so at least two hours. We have the same problem with tradespeople, they barely show up or else when they do they don’t want the job because it’s too small. My neighbour on the other hand has a carpenter call in a few mornings a week for a few hours at a time. He must be rebuilding the house with his bare hands cause he doesn’t have machinery or equipment/isn’t constantly going back to his van leaving her front door open yet he arrives wearing work clothes. It’s a strange one 😀 Earlier in the week shexwasnt in and he sat in his van in her driveway for at least half an hour. I sound like I don’t do anything but spy on them but I am intrigued.

Isn’t Kat at all interested in her kids? Not a phonecall seeing if they are all ok? Then again Zoe upped and left and was barely mentioned since. I’m surprised she hasn’t reappeared!

Your neighbour is definitely having an affair birthday- it sounds like his smitten. I was lol at your ‘ building the house with his bare hands ‘ Smile he is up to something with those hands I think! Maybe she just likes the smell of WD 40 or something.

I’m sure someone deals in my
Block. Every night Uber taxi comes around least twice with 2-3 “hoodies” in back. They will come
In block for 10min then go off. Hour or so later back again!

Maybe with a smart Uber car and driver the police don’t stop n search! I mean it could be entirely legal but why are hoodies paying cabs and keep going back n forth?

I do believe that most streets have a ‘dealer ‘of some sort - there’s a few round here ( rumour has it) as long as they leave me alone I keep well away but it’s a real problem everywhere I think! Sad that life is like this. Anyway - in EE - they have bigger problems- such as Mo and her physic powers or Kats missing kids.

The paupers story could have been powerful and moving but unfortunately the writing of Joyce and Ted has been terrible so I'm not invested in their characters and there's the stupid implausibility of the three kids not helping out.

To me it felt like EE couldn't be bothered to do funeral scenes for Joyce because she wasn't important enough.

Good point about all these managers. It’s not that much bigger Vic surely? I mean more bar staff and cleaners and security but it hold what 50 people ?

Well it made enough for Mel to take 500 quid out of the till for Jack to spend on drinks in the Vic - an excellent business strategy, pay for your customers to drink in the only competitors pub!

It must been open for a few nights, no one was there long enough to get drunk and mess up the bathroom.

I don’t see how they are going pay £100 day for cleaners. For 4h work!
They have one person expect to do it all in half the time and pay them £9.50 an hour. surely bar manager and staff put glasses in dishwasher and clear tables at end. So hoover mop and cleaning of loos and stairs. Do bar staff all swan off leaving very surface covered in glass?

This rate Kat will be running bar in a month.
