Why don't people in soaps know about benefits? I don't understand why Jay the 'undertaker' didn't point Ted towards a funeral grant. Although in my experience, most people of their generation have small insurance policies to pay fir a funeral.

I was just going say good job DWP don’t know Stacey’s housing benfit is paying for whole tribe to stay rent free. It could be gd plot. Dee gets a side ways move to DWP office. Every week character goes in to explain who’s moved in/out/dead/not dead/pregnant/more kids/in prison/gone abroad pick n mix.

I found the Ted grieving story very emotional. I like the sort of acting where it isn't in your face. Bernie's facial expressions, Ted's pain without saying anything at all....... some EE actors are really good.

Is cleaning really that much in London? I worked in a bar when I was younger and we always cleaned up after we closed including washing the toilets and floors. The following day we did things like polishing and the 'cleaner' jobs. Then again the capacity wasn't five hundred people, but still four hours cleaning work and not one of the bar staff put glasses in the dishwasher????
