Christopher Timothy (Ted) such a wooden actor. Can get into him or that story line for that reason. Jessie (Kat) also v stilted actress but worst of all is Danny Dyer.....esp when he comes over all deep and sincere with Linda ....makes you want to hue!!!

Eastenders has turned rubbish the last month or so. The Slater family returned, who never really brought much to the show I didn’t think when they were in it before. Surely they’ve came to the end of the road with Kat and Nan??
The whole Wayland and Max storyline ended very disappointingly, are we really supposed to have believed that Fi would just accept that ring and call it quits for the money? Even the James Wilmott Brown ended boringly.
Then the Aidan storyline fizzled out.
Now we have Steve Owens son Hunter who’s 15 going on 40, obviously gunning for Phil Mitchell.

Kat and Kim could make a good double act in future like Karen and Shirley could but they didn't continue that.
Karen is being so lovely to Ted - I'm actually enjoying this side of her and the idea that books are judged by their cover.

I hate the way couples never communicate in EE. Vincent is supposedly organised and capable enough to own and run a successful club but his solution to his family being evicted from their home is to shove the letter down the back of the sofa !

The funeral stuff was hard to watch, essentially a paupers cremation for poor old Joyce

I thought the funeral scenes were silly because I kept thinking how implausible it was that a man with THREE adult children, at least two of whom we know to work, would let a pauper's funeral for their mother.

I think Mo might be using the SIM cards as some sort of bugging device, although it's pretty implausible that so many local people would want to replace their SIM cards at the same time!

Absolutely! - I don't know how these things work - but surely the grown-up children could contribute, she might have had life insurance, could he release money from the mortgage? Can you get money released from a pension fund? It seems absurd that he would pawn his wedding ring. Wouldn't Jay be suggesting some of these options in his role as Funeral Director?

It always distracts me when I hear Kat call Mo 'nan' because they look much more like mother and daughter than grandmother and granddaughter (in real life the gap is 26 years).

The oldies didn’t have mortgage was a council flat. The problem with these over 50s funeral plans you see on TV is start low but go up per month and if you can’t afford it any time you lose all money. So understand why not have but instead you would think at say 50/60 ok we put a £5 away a week or so towards it instead. In 25y that’s £6500. Why hard understand in theirs 80s they have nothing at all.

Plus is gtant towards funeral costs on some benefits. Still not enough for anything much but least very very basics. Thought Karen would k ow the system!
