Still waiting out for the start date for the Nigeria tour. Always happy to discuss anything Our Girl and Captain James.

Definitely they have favourites you see them in everything for a while then disappear again. If only someone would find BA. if of course he wants that which I am not sure about. I think he likes to be different!! UNFORTUNATELY for us.

I think you could be right about that Flower, he does seem to buck the trend a bit sometimes when you think of some of the pilot films he has gone for. Also much as I enjoyed it I thought Fleabag was a bit out of the main stream sort of thing that other actors might get involved with. We will just have to keep our fingers crossed something takes his fancy that actually shows up on our TV rather than some remote channel that I for one don't seem to know.

Hopefully won’t stay long but the wind today was absolutely biting as cold as I can remember.

We too have had far more snow than was initially forecast. I am a bit concerned as I am going away on Sunday (tomorrow as you read this I imagine) down to Bath for a few nights. The journey down doesn't look too good really. The motorways are usually kept clear but it's idiots who take no notice of speed restrictions etc who cause accidents. The rest of the week looks ok, cold maybe, but I don't mind that.

The wind today has been bitter. It's quite a long time since we had a winter which dragged on as much as this one has. I just hope we have a good summer to compensate.

We've got about 5cm in Hampshire and still snowing. My DS is coming back into Dover this evening from a school trip to the Somme, so I hope the roads in the SE are ok by then
I couldn't get into the ff site yesterday afternoon/ evening either.

We're not just eating there kazza we are staying there. That's more than CJ did! It was a 3 nights for the price of 2 offer in November. Never expected this weather that's for sure.

Enjoy ilove and don't let the weather get you down. I'm sure Bath will look lovely under a blanket of snow.

Arrived safely despite the snow. Motorways were clear and just the ladt few miles on the A46 proved a little hairy with drifting snow across the road.

My friend knows of my liking for OG but has no idea how far the obsession stretches! She does know that when I came before, I sat at The Table with another friend (who thought it was a coincidence, not pre-arranged) but that's all.

The restaurant was a little disappointing to be honest last night as the head waiter was very shirty.

What is it with BH ilove ? They need to retrain their staff! A shirty waiter, a waitress who unnecessarily fills up your wine glass just as you're about to kiss the love of your life....??!!

Afternoon everyone. I've had a rare day off on a Monday and used it to have a mini Our Girl AGM in Bath with ilove this morning. It was snowy and perishing cold but we both managed to get there. I don't know whether any of you can remember or are aware of the original proposals for our AGM way back in the heady days of 2015 but as I recall they involved some tape measuring sessions (whatever happened to that lovely sketch that was posted here) and various other group seminars of a dubious sounding nature. Suffice to say the reality was a little more refined and consisted of coffee and a good chinwag rather than some of the fictional debauchery that was once mooted .

I'm beginning to think we really ought to reinstate the fictitious AGM now that we have three series to discuss - just think of all the guest speakers we could invite and some of the subjects that could be up for discussion.

All suggestions for the agenda are welcome

We had a lovely mini meet up. Rhu knows now that I talk non-stop!

After we'd gone our separate ways, my friend and I walked up to the Royal Crescent. I was going to take a photo of No 20 but there was a lot of building work going on so there was no point in taking a photo.

The pics look lovely ilove. It certainly did turn into a nice day albeit absolutely freezing. As I said this morning, we've probably had as much snow in this area in the last two weeks as we've had in the last ten years but the thaw is definitely on. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay.

We stayed in town all day and ate out. Cloisters restaurant is just a one off as it's lovely but seriously overpriced. our total bill was less than half of what we paid on Sunday!

First of all I could be totally wrong!!
BUT I have just got next week’s radio times and there is a three part serial starting on Tuesday 27th at 9.0 so PERHAPS Our Girl will follow this on the 24th April??? They could of course change the day altogether.

Sounds like you could be on to something there Flower. Fingers crossed. By the way if the three parter starts on the 27th I make that the 17th as a possibility of an OG start. Even better eh? A little bit sooner! We really are having withdrawal systems I reckon 😜
