I want her to be real-Dee but it's almost certainly another baby so they'll get to play the scrapey-scrapey game again. Neighbours does love a surprise baby, especially one that turns up just at the moment when one of a couple announces they don't want more children, while the other is desperate for a baby. It would even things out for them though - they'd each have one of their own & one to share... Biologically, anyway - Toadie's been Callum's parental figure much longer than Sonya has!

Maybe her abnormally long gestation period is what's triggered her memory to return. She's actually the real-Deel & is a mermaid - they gestate for 12 months & give birth to more developed babies who grow at an accelerated rate for the first few years before following a similar trajectory to humans. So Willow is actually Toadie's, Dee is alive & Toadfish is going to be daddy to an actual fish baby. His nickname is what attracted mermaiDee to him in the first place - she thought he was a merman.

This is all very plausible. More plausible than Paul being daddy Tanaka.

No, Paige is a siren. Similar to a mermaid, just slightly more prone to drowning, hypothermia & needing rescuing. It explains why she's irresistible to men.

Why does Paul supposedly have all these amazing connections that can find people anywhere? He’s only ever lived in a) Erinsborough, b) jail, and c) South America, but he can’t remember South America. FGS the man doesn’t know where all his children are, or even how many he’s got. Why are Toady and Sonya pinning their hopes on him finding BaDee? Do they think there’s some scoundrel equivalent of gaydar???
