I totally blanked Liam story, why was he gone from childcare??

Would Carla and Auden be home same time, surely Carla more risk of complications and rejections?? Still wondering about the voice over about sad episode. Expecting one of them to drop dead.

I think Summer was about to cut herself in a self-harm-type way as she's becoming overwhelmed with falling behind at school and her domestic circumstances.

I thought Summer was holding a memory stick (on which she had her homework?) under the running water to make it faulty. She could hand it in to her teacher but possibly not get into trouble for not completing the assignment.

Not RTFT but what a nasty thing to say about Eva. Her laugh is part of her quirky charm.

On Classic Corrie nearly all the houses only have 2 bedrooms with the front room being used as a third sometimes. When Gail bought her new build house in was 3 bed (one a boxroom) and nowit also has a Granny Annexe but manages to have a bedroom each for Gail, Sarah, Bethany, Max, Lily and baby Harry with David and Shona in the annexe. All the houses must have secret loft conversions. (Dev, Maria's, cab flat, Rovers, Eileen's when the occasion calls for it etc)

Not a regular poster on here but always read the thread. Hope I can jump in and ask a few questions. I don't get to watch every episode so often have gaps missing. Why is,Gary working for pat after all the history with his mum etc? I thought they hated each other? Is a case of keeping your enemies close or just convenient for the script writers to have them in the same locations. What are they building? I thought pat's last venture went bust? How has he got the funding for this new one and would he be allowed to be doing this after owing so much money?

Gary was sacked by Phelan last night, but was probably working for him to keep an eye on him in the hope of exposing him.
I think Phelan is working at the site of the mill, where he has hidden the bodies.

Tricky questions, tenpence! I don't know why Gary was hired, but maybe it was to give Nicola more financial support? It seemed strange to me that someone with Phelan's history would be so low key with Seb, Gary and Nicola. Maybe more to come on that!

Nicola convinced Phelan that she believed him that Anna was crazy after she was convicted.

She then convinced Phelan to give Gary a job so he could "pay for the baby".

I really thought all of this might be the of Phelan. No bloody idea how it's going to play out now.

When Nicola realised what Phelan was like she asked Phelan to employ Gary ostensibly so she would get child support but in reality so Gary could keep an eye on him.

I think Phelan is just the building contractor for the job at the mill, it's not his site.

I thought that Nicola got the job for Gary so he could have a nosey around and see what Phelan is hiding.
Re Billy's addiction - didn't Adam substitute his prescription drugs for over-the-counter ones, so that Billy could go to him and ask for something stronger. That's why Billy didn't go to the Dr - he believed he was taking something illegal (??)

We don't know Josh's family but Sarah Lou isn't involved in drugs. (I think)

Lee is Billy's brother, and a few years ago he lured Sarah to his flat and held her hostage in return for Billy giving him money. Think David rescued her. Josh is helping David get a bit of revenge.

I’m not taking to Josh (apart from fact he looks like needs a good wash) we have no background a time all. Suddenly he’s happy to be a thug for David??

Going be really full with Billy on drugs story. If drugs he had were is proper medication they should have worked once he took them. But he was taking loads of them so can’t have been that effective, but at the same time be totally addictive?? No idea what they were supppsed to be.

Billy’s going have crawl to his brother for Meds every day or go and get his own.

Loads other story lines from months back have just stopped. Mary’s family still not working or doing anything. Ken Audrey thing never got going, rarely see either. Rita was going on World cruise- no idea if she went or just missing.

Only possible interest is if Auden gets. Factory going again and who might work there. Will all staff magically resign and go back? Given they sew about 0.5 pair pants per hour they will never compete with China!!

Akire You are right about the dropped storylines. The actor who plays Norris had to take a sudden leave of absence, not sure if/when he'll return perhaps that messed up Angie/Jude storylines but it seems strange they are just mooching about living in an old man's house when they had careers and a great life in SA - would that not be causing tension between them, what about Angie's PND and her friendship with Toyah?

Tracey won't be so skint as she employed both Kirk and Beth when the factory closed - like a small business taking on 2 extra staff is an easy cost to absorb? Does Tracey own the flat above the shop (where Billy lives) now or did Peter hang on to it?
