Like the title? I think she was either, with that laugh!

He is the Simon Cowell of the cheese world, does a lot of judging at shows!

cloudyweewee · 27/03/2018 20:41

He hasn't changed his acting style much from the Classic Corrie episodes on currently- he'd be lost if he wasn't wearing a jacket with pockets. Where would he put his hands? I like the character, though, and wish David had opened up to him.

Smeaton - you made a snide remark based on your admited ignorance - I was providing you with information so you could graviously withdraw your ignorant comment. I use the term ignorant in its true meaning - a lack of knowledge - and not in its pejorative sense.

LineysRun · 27/03/2018 21:46

Who knew that Martin Platt's cheese would prove to be so controversial?

Its like Annie Walker and Bet on here tonight...!

CoolCarrie · 27/03/2018 22:47

Anyone for a nice bit of Wensleydale?

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 27/03/2018 23:08

Your right cloudy that made me laugh. I was really glad to see his character back as well, now if only Curly and Terry could rock up for an old boys reunion!

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 27/03/2018 23:11

Who knew this could cause a ruckus!

It does look nice, I'll give him that

millimat · 28/03/2018 07:16

Is that his double in the background?!

ChevalierTialys · 28/03/2018 10:38

His resemblance to that cow is uncanny.

There are so many current residents it would have been lovely to Martin catching up with. What a waste 😡

Smeaton Grin

LineysRun · 28/03/2018 11:29

Thanks for the heads-up on the times.

eddiemairswife · 28/03/2018 11:35

Where did you get those times from smeaton? I've checked the Radio Times and also on the television, and can't see any change from usual.

"Is that his double in the background?!"

I believe he has created a fully automated cheese replica of himself so he can do two personal appearances at one time.

It's probably a Gouda job to with the cheese puns, it might be against Le Roules of the thread so we should tread Caerphilly from now on.

Spam88 · 28/03/2018 15:00

I think maybe the online guide is suffering due to the clock change? Everything is on an hour later than usual according to that.

elsmokoloco · 28/03/2018 16:22

Go on YouTube and subscribe to LOO'NIE and watch every Corrie episode most in 3 hour bocks from 1976-1987 Ena Sharples, Annie Walker, Bet Lynch, Stan & Hilda Ogden and Eddie, the slimey Fred Gee, Rita & Mavis and the love triangle that was Ken Barlow, Diedre and Mike. The Duckies back when the Rovers was the centre of the show.

lucertola28 · 28/03/2018 17:07

I’ve been watching episodes from 2000 on YouTube ‘Jerry Booth’ is channel but you’re better off putting date in search as they are not all in order e.g June 23 2000 Coronation Street

Way more enjoyable than current storylines plenty of drama and bad stuff but nice balance of lighter/funny stuff!

Seniorcitizen1 · 28/03/2018 17:51

Sally’s wallpaper story was a rehash from 1970s. Eddy Yates sold Annie Walker some carpeting with the initials AW weaved into it. Turned out to be an off cut from a cinema or bingo hall.

deadringer · 28/03/2018 19:27

Does anyone else think that Martin is the image of Hilda Ogden?
