Eddie yes that is my understanding too. Adam swapped Billy's medication for paracetamol. When Billy couldn't cope with the pain Adam got him much stronger, illegal and presumably highly addictive pills. This has been going on for quite a while. just place marking really

Perhaps it's been mentioned but isn't a lot of all these rubbish storylines partly a product of them having to write Todd out with no notice? I still think they could do better.** I love Corrie but it is going downhill

Yes, Billy did give up the vicarage for Todd and he also gave up being the vicar and was going to be a drugs counsellor/social worker or some such but decided to go back to the church. However, IIRC the vicar post had been reassigned and he was offered part time underling vicar work. Although that seems to have been dropped (like so many story lines). How is Billy affording the flat on his own?

The story about Todd assaulting a PC and going on the run - is pants. There are so many other ways they could have written him out at short notice. The standard one would have been - not able to cope/cold feet so went to visit Jason in Thailand. I don't understand how on earth Billy got guardianship of Summer - being left to someone in a will is not enough. Surely his assault of Peter would have been investigated by Summer's SW?

Maybe Billy's parishioners think he has moved on. As Emily was the only churchgoer in the street, there is no-one to tell them of his circumstances.

I agree Redglitter. But we never see any of Billy's parishioners. Before his fall he seemed to spend most of his time in the Rovers - no mention of services, visting the sick, alpha groups or Scouts.

There is Sophie. She was the one who alerted Eileen and Pat when Billy didn’t show up to the Christmas Day service. I’m sure there would be a meal rota set up by now.

Craig's counting it was quite funny and I say that as someone diagnosed with OCD! No doubt he will be cured in a few weeks and it will be all forgotten about! Sigh.
