Like the title? I think she was either, with that laugh!

Perhaps to say he had his drink spiked too if David got tested he could too?

Creepy.

cloudyweewee · 16/03/2018 20:59

Oh dear God Shock

Akire · 16/03/2018 21:00

WELL he didn’t seem to have any personality or background. Now we don’t want to know!!

honeyroar · 16/03/2018 21:00

Never knew that unimaginative.

NotAllTimsWearCapes · 16/03/2018 21:03

Thanks unimaginative I didn’t know that. I thought it just made people unable to move or talk.

Akire · 16/03/2018 21:13

I think I missed we’d second one again. Can’t get used to two. What happened with necklace??

southeastdweller · 16/03/2018 21:50

The final scene tonight went too far. It wasn't appropriate for that time.

NotAllTimsWearCapes · 16/03/2018 22:00

Agree south. I was relieved it ended when it did!

Stu123 · 16/03/2018 22:53

Had to laugh that the GHB had ‘GHB’ written on it in big letters. Reminded me of the explosives in the Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons that always had ‘TNT’ written on them. Grin

Geoff1969 · 17/03/2018 06:59

Phelan could get banged up, self-identify as a transwoman and get a transfer to become Anna's cell mate.

Ha ha, brilliant!

fleshmarketclose · 17/03/2018 08:48

Came here to see if I wasn't the only one who felt last night's episode went too far. There seems to be so much effort going into storylines that shock that they seem to forget that what made Corrie great was the characters, their interactions and everyday real life situations. Stan and Hilda sitting at the table, she nagging, him lazy. Rita and Mavis in the cabin, chalk and cheese but a real friendship. Annie Walker and Bet in the Rovers scathing comments and one upmanship but respect from both sides.

MotherOfWurzel · 17/03/2018 09:10

I think it's too much. I understand that they want to look at male mental health but this is hardly a common occurence. The Craig storyline is already running, and in the past, Steve had a battle with depression which could have returned. If they perhaps want to use David's experience to look at PTSD then they didn't have to go so extreme with the trigger.

We've also only just had Bethany's sexual abuse storyline.

Yorkshirebetty · 17/03/2018 09:34

I agree with other posters on here. Too many big issues and it loses its charm. That's why the clairvoyant storyline is good, intriguing and light relief (probably). Eva must be about 7 months pregnant, I thought she was going away? How come no one notices? (I know Leanne thinks she's fat)

Agree with smeaton that Josh hasn't established himself as a character yet. I wonder if he will stay much longer.

I was thinking last night that Eva had planned to go away until the baby had been born. Didn't she make up a story about going to America on a course?

No sign of Simon for weeks. What happened to the loft that Peter was refurbishing?

HairButty · 17/03/2018 10:24

I have not watched for a while, I have 10 episodes on my Freeview box to catch up on, but I just cannot be arsed, its so shite. Think I will just delete them. Am watching Classic Corrie, so much better.

Kikashi · 17/03/2018 10:27

Stu we were all laughing at the big GHB label too and then felt guilty because it was dealing with a horrific thing.

Frillyhorseyknickers · 17/03/2018 10:41

Audrey is my fav - “I’ve got Netflix, I’m never on my own” LOL.

Spam88 · 17/03/2018 10:43

Ugh why have I got the feeling no one is going to believe David?

Akire · 17/03/2018 10:45

It be interesting to see if David’s know what happened. If was a women and you went out with someone new ish felt to drink and woke up in bed you know something adrift. Would you suspect as a bloke?

Granted if he wakes up next to you and claims you were all for it. Does seem a lot on top of all deaths murders, by and too. Kidnap child abuse, stabbing now drug rape.

Kikashi · 17/03/2018 10:59

I think David will know - I don't suppose Josh was gentle or used lube. There would be evidence of activity I should think and David's clothes might still be in disarray.

NotAllTimsWearCapes · 17/03/2018 11:16

My friend’s drink was spiked years ago and she remembered everything that happened. Thankfully she wasnt raped, just dumped outside a pub. She remembers the guy who spiked her, their conversation, feeling really odd, noticing her legs and mouth didn’t work, him dragging her outside and holding her up against the wall whilst trying to get a taxi, then he got fed up waiting and set her down on the ground and walked off. then bouncers finding her, paramedics coming and going in the ambulance etc. She said it was horrifying because she was totally aware of what was happening, she knew what this guy was planning but couldn’t say anything or move her body to stop it.

JustDanceAddict · 17/03/2018 11:33

Just watched it. Poor David :-(

Btw the Eva pregnancy thing is ridix. Leanne has recently been pregnant and the belly is a pregnant one, not a fat one ffs. There’s a big difference, esp as E has never been pregnant before so doesn’t have that residual shape (like me!).

NotAllTimsWearCapes · 17/03/2018 11:36

Maybe all the Corrie residents are MNers And know the golden rule that you NEVER ask a woman if She is pregnant! Grin

yawning801 · 17/03/2018 12:12

My friend had her drink spiked at a pub too. Thankfully she wasn't too drunk to notice that it had started fizzing and there was a guy watching her, waiting for her to drink it. She reported him but I don't know what happened afterwards.
