Surely if your carer develops a drug problem, you're not allowed to just 'go stay with the neighbours'. Especially when they're Pat bloody Phelan!

Why is phelan now bullying billy? Have I forgotten some sort of wrong doing on billy’s Part towards phelan? I know he was looking for billy with Eva but I didn’t really understand why?

The Eva storyline is ridiculous. As if you'd give up on a good relationship where you liked the man so that you could have a baby for someone who you don't really like much!

Hooray! Eileen finally told the Bishop. Have the writers been reading MN again? We have been saying since Billy's addiction started that his church would have stepped in and rallied round. Hopefully we won't have to see Billy's gurning face for a while. Is Summer going to stay in the care of Eileen and Phelan then?

The Eva story line is beyond ridiculous as is the cover story that the surrogate went to Dubai. Peter never asks for updates/scan pictures etc. Is Eva never going to go off into secret confinement elsewhere.

Pat was really on power trip tonight. He is such a bully. Hopefully Billy wouldn’t remember or he will but everyone will think he’s off his face.

The pub scence was funny. Who there hasn’t had an affair?

It's annoying me that nobody has noticed Eva is pregnant.

She can hide behind as many cushions as she likes, she's clearly pregnant and you'd think Leanne would have noticed well before now. Tracy never misses anything either. She's clearly a pregnant shape rather than a fat shape.

I've never liked Toyah and I dislike this storyline. It was always obvious from that wedding gone wrong and the fake pregnancy that Eva would really be pregnant afterwards. I don't know why they have to do this baby swap storyline, especially as the surrogate has lost a baby.

For a soap that's meant to have worked closely with baby loss charities, I think it's wrong that they have Toyah so easily replacing a lost baby with barely a tear shed.

I was annoyed about Tyrone's house as well. I know he's hoping to work things out but he's going to have to point out he owns the house soon. Fiz has just assumed she's going to stay there but surely he's not going to give away his inheritance and Ruby's home to sleep on Kevin's sofa?

I hope he and Gemma get together actually. I just checked and it says the Gemma the character was born in 1991 so she's 26/27. The actress who plays her was really born in 1987 (and her name is Dolly-Rose, never knew that before).

And I just want Pat Phelan caught now. It's gone on too long, it's gotten too stupid. How many times can you hide the same body?

I hate Fizz, the bloody cheek of her when its not her house. Just why is she in Corrie, so annoying and can't act, I can't watch her scenes, she annoys me that much.

Is Fizz supposed to be this unpleasant? Even Phelan is capable of being kind and caring some of the time. I was totally on Gemma's side when Fizz started chucking food at her.

Chesney used to be a fairly likable character back in the day. He has become as nasty as his sister recently.

It's definitely time to let Fiz and Chesney go.

I do think Hope will turn out to be the bad one, and that all of a sudden Joseph will start getting the blame for things that Ruby would have been blamed for.

Maybe they could send the four of them off to live with Cilla and have Tyrone and Gemma get together properly. I don't want to see Fiz and Tyrone reconcile now.

They could take Billy with them when they leave.

And although I don't like Mary's son, he and his wife could move into Chesney's empty house, start having some proper storylines that make them like actual people, and they might be alright as characters then. Angie is definitely better than Jude at the moment but they could work on him.

Or Moira could buy the house.

Money for old rope in the case of many Corrie actors. Acting in soaps is the only position I can think of where people who are inept at their jobs are paid a lot of money and allowed to stay for many years.

When Adam came in with his new haircut and the grey/cream coat my older teens thought it was Aidan. They don't buy that no one would have noticed Eva's pregnancy - it would take just one lippy customer who hadn't seen Eva in a while.

I agree about the deadwood actors - it is like you have a job for life as long as you are sweet with the producers, especially the child actors who don't mature in their skills such as Chesney, Rosie etc.

Jude and Angie could be okay if they inject a bit of life into them. I feel the Angie actress is itching to break out and show some personality.

Who looks after Joseph now that he doesn't have Sinead for free childcare when he does his shifts? The free 24/7 childminder or the cupboard?

Regarding eva’s Unnoticed bump, no-one seems to have noticed that pat phelan is also about 11 months pregnant Grin when he sat down on the seat after shaking billy yesterday he looked like a bald pregnant woman wearing men’s clothes.

Hygge that all sounds perfect, hopefully the script writers are reading this thread. That's if they can read, cos they certainly can't write. I did like the post clairvoyant scene with Audrey and Gail though, more of that please.
