Sorry, I meant 'Is it possible that Hagan is both Alan's and the surviving twin's daughter's father? '!

SpringHen · 01/03/2018 11:21

I think theyre gearing up for a big row with Sandy the twat that he is

I fancy the Norweigan cop!

Clawdy · 01/03/2018 11:36

I wondered that about Sally 's flatmate, then I wondered if it was Sally she was in love with? Also, anyone else think Alan just isn't attractive enough to have three girls all into him? Sally, Cass, the flatmate......

MichaelBendfaster · 01/03/2018 11:45

I wondered that about Sally 's flatmate, then I wondered if it was Sally she was in love with?

Interesting thought!

But, thinking about it, when he came round wanting to spend the night in Sally's room, she asked him if he wanted a coffee, all hopeful, and looked crushed when he declined.

As for attractive, well, he's OK-looking. And I don't think there are that many men of that age to choose from in Shetland. Grin

Looking forward to tomorrows episode. I remember the bbc messing about with when the episodes were shown towards the end of the last series. I almost missed them, as this was before I got my tivo box and could series link them.

Inkanta · 05/03/2018 16:09

Why has the sister (of the deceased woman) got such the hots for Malone. So much so that she was over him when she must have known the daughter was around and might see them snogging. Poor daughter seeing that.

Kikashi · 05/03/2018 17:51

I thought that too - Inkata. I think she knows for certain that Malone didn't kill her sister and it might be guilt snogging

ginghamstarfish · 05/03/2018 22:36

Seems obvious that the Norwegian cop is connected with the far right and is passing on info re Tosh and her whereabouts?

Melamin · 05/03/2018 22:51

I am still wondering who the sister's daughter's father is as was said upthread. It has intrigued me since I read it.

You would have thought the snogging would be resuming where they left off if Malone was the father (the murder was 15 years ago), but it does look more like guilt. So if it wasn't Malone, there would have been a father on the scene around the time of the murder surely?

BossWitch · 06/03/2018 21:35

I think the sister killed the twin. Jealousy. Starting to think the deaf girl killed her housemate, or arranged for matti to do it, again out of jealousy because she's in love with Alan. I don't think the murders are connected apart from the same motivation.

Footle · 06/03/2018 22:08

I can't tell all these dark haired women apart. Well, except Tosh.

BossWitch · 06/03/2018 22:41

I love Tosh! Really hope the Norwegian policeman is as incredibly nice as he seems and that she is able to open up to him a little, even if it is just going for lunch. Dh thinks he might turn out to be a nasty which I just couldn't cope with!

officerhinrika · 06/03/2018 22:46

I think Lars is a potential nasty too sadly for Tosh.

BossWitch · 06/03/2018 22:52

Nooooo!

Shenanagins · 06/03/2018 23:08

I think Lars is in the nda and Sally’s murderer.

BossWitch · 06/03/2018 23:09

fingers in ears la la la, can't hear you!!

longtompot · 06/03/2018 23:11

I had a feeling of dread in my stomach when he said 'turn left here as theres roadworks' blah blah blah. I don't know if he is a 'baddie', I think he has the potential to swing either way.

SpringHen · 07/03/2018 12:28

What on earth is Lars up to I cant tell whose side he is on!!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/03/2018 12:34

I love Shetland - I have binge-watched my way through series 1 and series 3 (I can't find the series 2 dvd), to keep me going whilst I wait for each week's instalment of the new series. And I have all the episodes of this series so far recorded, and am planning to watch them all, back to back, to try to get a better grip on what's happening.

I would love to visit Shetland - I have been to Orkney, which was wonderful - and whenever I watch Shetland, I wish I could go there. I do have a bit of a fantasy about moving to either the Orkneys or one of the Shetland islands, but if I am honest, I know that it is probably a bit too remote for me.

Ds2 is currently doing teaching practice on Lewis, and apparently the school he's at has a vacancy for a NQT in his subject in the autumn, so it is not impossible that he might end up applying for that.

Melamin · 07/03/2018 12:54

Lars is a bit funny Hmm He has been from the start. Maybe it just the actor. I didn't like the way he turned up outside the hotel last week.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/03/2018 13:24

I agree, @Melamin - he seems a bit off to me too.

SpringHen · 07/03/2018 13:35

Also think Lars looks like a character from Twilight which is adding to my mounting mistrust of him

SpringHen · 07/03/2018 19:05

Perez was a dick in Norway. He doesnt seem at all concerned that his actions caused the death of an informant

SisterNotCis · 07/03/2018 21:33

Lars definitely going to be a bad un. Tosh telling Perez the job is about judging people... she's heading for another fall after starting to trust Lars I reckon. Sad

SpringHen · 07/03/2018 21:37

Shes playing it so well, such good acting

Sandy continues to be a prize dick
