In the writers’ defence I assumed the stairgate is for the next foster child lined up for auntie, as presumably it would need to be in place before the child arrives. But that’s the only thing I can defend. It’s a crock of shite at the minute.

Haven't watched Monday's yet but it sounds like all the loose ends have been nicely tied up and Abi's funeral was very moving.
