And this storyline sounds unbearable. Whose dead baby were they given to bury? I know babies die in NICU pretty much every day, but it's not confusible in the same way as healthy babies on a ward when there is an overnight nursery available.

I've just seen the pictures of the actress playing Katie. I can't believe they're doing it. I swear at some point they'll resurrect Phelan.

It's just wrong to have a resurrected Katie storyline (especially with the Ali/Liam one also happening and the Ryan one in Emmerdale). It was a big story at the time, very sad and raised issues about neonatal death. They have so many other storylines on the go that aren't explored properly - Seb's HIV status and its effect on a young man (we never even see him taking or deciding not to take his meds), Johhny's MS, Robert's cancer, Tracey's kidney (which should be causing problems by now for her) to name just a few - no need for this - so, so far fetched

They could have brought Andy back (with a new head) if the writers felt they needed another MacDonald

Yes, kikashi and I think it's part of the current problem. Finding issues or sensationalist storylines instead of focusing on character development. There are enough things that could keep them ticking over. What's happened to Josh?

Josh clearly hasn't been at the garage for weeks. I hate it when they just let storylines taper and drift for months. Are Peter and Carla getting back together? Bringing Toyah back was a mistake, she's been terrible. Shona is so improbable as Clayton's mum, so we'll have it again with Tyler. Why doesn't Sean get a factory job again?

Simon Gregson is one of those limited soap actors that would struggle to get decent acting roles if he left. The love for Steve is beyond me.

I've just read that the actor who plays Henry has already filmed his final scenes so it looks like he won't be back for long.

Eva will be back with Adam and Susie for Aiden's inquest - so perhaps Adam will not be lost to Corrie. Imran and Adam should be given a lot more to do (than be the worst solicitors ever now and again).
