Do we think that if Johnny buys the pub that Jenny will be ousted and LIz reinstated as Queen of the Rovers. What are they going to do with Toyah and Leanne? and where will they live - they seem a bit peripheral these days. Toyah hasn't really gelled since returning.

This is speculation rather than spoiler, but if the writers aren't so thick as to overlook reinstating Liz in The Rovers, then couldn't the route be via Peter selling the Barlow interest to Tracey. Then she and Steve take over and Liz moves back behind the bar too.

Sad news. Malcolm Hebden (Norris) had a massive cardiac arrest and may not return to the cobbles. I hope his recovery continues well.

The ridiculous Kayla revenge (that undermines the horror of Bethany's abuse/rape storyline), custody nonsense, homelessness nonsense (as it's about someone who wouldn't fall through the cracks) and coming this week Jude and Angie at marriage counselling - who cares?? haven't seen him for months, not even a glimpse of him at the counter of t'Kabin and having to watch "the plank" (our Sawphie).

Apparently Johnny is going to buy the Rovers, rebrand it as Roverz, sack off the hot pot and start serving gastropub food.

Yes, I heard Henry is trying to prove his love for Gemma.....another unlikely story.

The Gemma/ Henry storyline doesn't end well and Johnny buys the Rovers as it was the last place he saw Aiden alive.

Jim comes back with his and Liz’s daughter, Katie, the daughter we all thought died shortly after Liz gave birth to her in 1992.

Maybe I’m being over sensitive but this story feels a bit exploitative and tacky to me. It kind of makes a mockery of Liz’s grief over the years as well.
