Come on Corrie writers! Get a grip! This is the thread to moan about the utter tosh that we end up watching, or in some cases to praise the actors because some of them are actually pretty good! Let's discuss!

But does anyone know how many weeks was the surrogate? Did Toyah mention it on the stairs?

That’s what I meant the surrogate weeks. It was all pregnant in like week of meeting them and she had first scan but never really being counting down it’s x weeks

The actor who plays Phelan is brilliant, he could have been a long-term nasty character, but the writers made it untenable. He's come back more times than Rasputin.

He's not just nasty though - he's evil - and I hate the way he's affecting so many lives on Coronation Street without being caught. I keep feeling hope that he'll get his cummupence (sp?!!!), and then he slithers out of it again.

It must be hard for the actor to walk the streets now tho

Evil. Although why would he let Adam help him after what he did to Adams mum. Another ridiculous storyline.

I thought he was swoping strong for his weaker ones? Didn’t he want him hooked?

Eva is having a baby but doesn't want a baby
Toyah wants a baby but can't have a baby

So obviously Eva will agree to hand her baby over to Toyah....until its born that is when she falls desperately in love with her child. And then maybe Toyah will kidnap the baby. Because in soaps women who suffer with infertility always go mad.

Why on Earth would billy move back to his upstairs flat? how will he get in and out?

Really are they actually going to do a Eva/Toyah surrogate so soon after the last one?

I presume the magic flat still has Izzy’s stair lift in? He still need someone carry chair and doubt it fit in bathroom. Why couldn’t he and summer stay at Eileen’s? He needed help before now he dosnt and can also look summer?

I’m still struggling about the fake what did Todd do to run away story?? What has summers gran got to do with it?

Does Billy know that Adam knows? I missed that bit over chrimbo I think, or I’d had too many sherrys watching it and forgotten!

No they decided big family meeting that keep enemies closer. I think but could be wrong he’s pretending to be very nice as he’s Todd business partner? Can’t say they bothered with each other before.

The surrogate found out that she was pregnant in mid October which would make the baby about 18 weeks.

Does anyone else find Gina's behaviour completely ridiculous? I know she's not taking her tablets, but surely someone would realise things were not right. Also is she now living at Dev's?

Yes, the Gina scene was ridiculous. Just remembered, wasn't there another Gina years ago, barmaid at Rovers, pretty dark haired girl?

It is strange that Adam and Eva seem to be caring for Billy. What about Shona? Billy saved her from the streets or one of the invisible parishioners or a CofE contact.

I wondered how Billy was managing. Eileen left him alone looking at Aliyah at Luke's shrine across the road a few episodes ago - outside the house. How did he unlock the door? The toilet is upstairs. Oh well, by next week he'll probably be racing around scoring drugs.

I presumed he needed help have wash and get dressed since bathroom was upstairs and help with food with the kitchen being tiny and can’t carry cups if using both arms to push yourself. There’s no way him be back home alone with summer. Although appreciate it had to be this way cover the story line. Can’t say she’s growing on me Summer. More Teenager stuff. Yawn.
