Eileen visiting Anna tonight - can people just rock up at prisons in the evening and talk to prisoners?

The cat fight was silly. Carla and Toyah are played by competent actors but they couldn't pull it off. Such poor material to work with.

How can guilt-ridden Billy bear to socialise with Adam, in Peter's pub? I'd be keeping a very low profile wgere the Barlows were concerned if I were Billy.

I think on remand you get more visits where normal prison is one or so a week? They do seem to get in with no notice mind.

I looked it up because I’m sad! (Well actual mistyped and it first came up as “how many volts do prisoners get”!)
A convicted prisoner is allowed at least two 1-hour visits every 4 weeks. A prisoner on remand (waiting for their trial) is allowed three 1-hour visits a week. If you live a long way from the prison, you may be able to make longer visits, but less often.

Please don't let Phelan just do a runner

We'll have to disagree on that one Edith, I remember a lot of dodgy fights and rows over the years, most of which seemed ridiculous to me. Ivy and Vera, Bet and ?....

It does seem incredible that Eileen would be able to visit Anna at such short notice after a day in court!

I hope Phelan doesn't do a runner. Surely not? I loved the weird noise he made at Gary when he spoke to him before the court.

What is the point of Gary? He always looks miserable, he seems to have no interaction with his son, he doesn't appear to have a regular job. Yet only a few weeks ago he was planning to buy a flat and pay for Speech Therapy for Jake.

If Phelan doesn't get caught in the next couple of weeks I'll go down there and arrest him myself.

Toyah bores the arse off of me, I can't see a single reason for having her back. They have already done a surrogate storyline and she has zero chemistry with Peter.

Agree re Toyah. Good actress, but zero chemistry with Peter, and unsuited to being a landlady.

It's so obvious the Anna court case will end badly for her. When they show shots of her smirking at Phelan, and her family smiling at each other, you just know it will all go horribly wrong next episode!

Hope not, I've had enough of Phelan, the office evidence is so rubbish. Why didn't they ask Adam or Rosie if Anna went in there. Rosie say Pat go in there.
