Anyone else excited by the start of the new 2017 series? I am! It's the law in our house to watch all these Christmas programmes - SCD, X Factor and Celeb.

I don't know who half the contestants are but I like Fizz (Corrie). And I can hardly bear to watch the high planks tonight...

Is it me or is AK a bit of a cock, dictating how many logs should go on the fire, then saying to his mate I'm going to take another one off.

It's not exactly endearing behaviour.

Kez is totally right. Men think only they can light fires and keep them going, it's a male thing and very irritating, I'd be telling AK to eff off if I had been her.

I love building fires and I'm good at it too. I'd have snapped at him before now.

i have a real fire and you dont burn the logs for the sake of it,especially as they have to find them etc and also to many at the beginning can smother it

my dp is the same always putting them on when it dosent need them

she did get it going well so well done but it so is a man thing

he should of bit his tongue though as it was her job and nothing worse than somebody watching and "giving advice"

I find Kez really irritating, she can't stop complaining.

I think AK was trying to be helpful, there isn't a lot to do in the camp so I can see them starting to step on each other's toes. He isn't the most articulate or brightest person on the show but seems genuine and I like that.

Ian... He's very loud and makes jokes but I feel it's a front to hide his insecurities. Like the way he was totally broken after losing the first trial. The way he worried all camp mates would hate him when he was PM. He probably is a nice person deep down.

What the hell was Iain playing at with lying back in his hammock, talking out loud to himself about apologising having been the right thing to do? Presumably, that was his way of saying he wasn't sorry at all, but had apologised to look good?

Been quite bored since Kez and Ian joined. They are both provocative - not in an entertaining way. Just tedius. AK seems harmless to me - just enjoys doing the fire.

Is it me, or does Kez always seem quite isolated? She never seems to be shown chatting/sitting with other campmates.

I don't really know why they have contestants so elderly or ill they can't do half the things in there.

OK GBP Iain and Amir for every bush tucker trial from now on.considering both of them wimped out of challenges and denied the others proper food it shows a very selfish streak to take the treats and scoff them like that.
