Anyone else excited by the start of the new 2017 series? I am! It's the law in our house to watch all these Christmas programmes - SCD, X Factor and Celeb.

I don't know who half the contestants are but I like Fizz (Corrie). And I can hardly bear to watch the high planks tonight...

Oh god, I can see how annoying it is to lose out on the chance of a feast, and how hungry they are, but her attitude stinks.
They lost, as a team. Nowt worse than a sore loser, have a bit of grace woman

Not forgetting that earlier on, the boys sacrificed meals so the girls could eat.

Becky really got on my tits - the reason the boys won is they worked well together and supported each other, where Becky shouted at Shappi rather than supporting her. She was hardly far behind anyway. So nasty. Such a sore loser, especially considering the first night the boys suggested all the girls took the meal tickets. I don't like Becky at all - she seems really up herself and full of herself, seems to think she's the big 'I am' and gets really pissed off when she thinks someone hasn't pulled their weight - eg Iain in the trial or Shappi tonight. Perhaps a bit over invested but Becky is such a nasty person

Prior to tonight, I thought Becky was OK. Didn't come over at all well in tonight's challenge although, to be fair, Shappi - who I like - would've got on my nerves as she seemed to waste crucial seconds by not focusing on the task in hand.

Watching on catch up. Why is everyone letting Becky just bad mouth Shappi?!

I think she's a bit intimidating. The others are quite confrontation adverse so are letting her vent.

becky is very driven in real life,just look at her relationship history

she will sell anybody to get what she wants

that cant be a surprise,she probably dosent like women very much,some women just dont and i think she is one

Becky was pissed off because the men had a five minute head start and they needed to catch up. Shapppi was being a pain by not throwing herself into it. She is very driven and I don’t blame her for getting irritated by Shappi. God the thought of a feast rather than rice and beans should be enough of a motivator for most people surely.

I'd also be irritated at Shappi who, let's face it, have about 65% in that race.

Ha! Just worked out who Becky reminds me of (please don't tell me someone has already said this). It's Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz.

Aww I love Iain. Been watching him since the days of the 11 o'clock show. Pleased he did really well.

I've only been half watching the series, but Iain very impressive tonight. Sweet how he asked becky about her depression and treatment with genuine concern and interest.

BUT Iain did remarkably well- like so well he didn't even appear to be slightly frightened. Hmm.

I wasn't convinced of his 'care' for Becky either. I struggle to warm to him.

Shappi I'm trying desperately to like but also struggling.

I think I want to see more of fizz (I don't even watch her soap and yet I can't remember for me what her name actually is)...

Vanessa is beautiful, quite sweet but just so hapless, anything she touches goes slightly wrong...

I quite like Kezia which is a surprise given my usual dislike of a politician...

Iain suffers massively from depression and has written about it a lot. The last I read he was struggling to take mirtazipine because of the side affects. He is probably the most genuine person in their at the moment and he was definitely being genuine with Becky. I am a big iain fan if I am honest.

I find Ian hugely irritating scratch the surface and he's quite nasty he was totally wrong with the counting out loud. The fake apology to Stanley was very awkward and Shappi made me laugh with her lack of effort 'ive had a nice day'

Iain doesn’t seem to know who he is or who he wants to be in the jungle. He looks very uncomfortable and out of place.

I look at him and wonder why he signed up for it.

It’s sad about his depression and perhaps that’s why he seems so out of sync with being there.
