Anything that goes over three series becomes a joke of itself. Nothing wrong with Twin Peaks , Lost, Friends GoT that maybe just having 20 episodes would have solved.

Mrs Brown's Boys is awful. My PIL love it and recommended it to me. Couldn't watch past the first 5 mins!

The Wire thought it was VERY VERY important and significant but I thought it was just boring. Dominic West's American accent was wobbly as fuck, too.

I love Mad Men, the West Wing (although it could be very preachy and folksy) and Breaking Bad though.

Do you know I agree about 1995 P and P. It was a good adaptation but had its faults. It gets lauded as the definitive version but I don't think I even like Lizzie in it very much. And I really didn't like Alison Steadman as the mum.

Another vote for Fawlty Towers. Not that I hate it, but I think it is over-rated.
