Now in our fourth year. Here to discuss all things Our Girl: Captain James, Elvis, Georgie, Maisie and the rest of the cast.

ooh Magi that would be interesting wouldn't it. He's quite tall and if Natalie was still in the show I'd reckon she would have been a good partner for BA. However, now she's not I'm wondering who I would like best.

Yes Natalie would have been my choice I must admit. Nice personality. Now the tall one this year is of course Nadiya who is dancing with Davood. Not sure that appeals to me though! Thinking caps on ladies.

Although I think I agree with you Rhu that it might not be his cup of tea/Rosabaya!

The new Welsh girl, was it Amy? She seemed really nice and lots of fun. She got on really well with Brian.

Magi that is quite a tame idea compared with some we have had in the past. How long did you lurk on here before breaking cover? We had CJ doing a tour of the UK (I was his tour manager). He went all over the place and was driven round in all sorts of fancy cars. He went to Amsterdam and even to Kenya as well!

Ah apparently Nadiya has a "reputation" - along the lines of Kristina if you get my drift. We wouldn't want that for BA, would we? He needs to be protected. I too thought of Natalie!

Yes I think you've got a good suggestion there. As a matter of fact I noticed her tonight when all the pro. Girls were dressed alike and she somehow stood out for me at the time.

All this not likely to happen though as I don't think BA would be on the radar for their idea of a celebrity, and I don't think he would be inclined towards this. Nice to speculate though.

I'm getting a bit confused here - is it CJ or BA or both who would be on a 'virtual' or real SCD. CJ would definitely have more potential for a raunchy partner. Imagine all the other characters we could add to that season of SCD.

That was Amy I meant of course as a good suggestion. I had got the drift on Nadiya and certainly wouldn't want any aspersions around CJ!

Yes I did follow all the tours you sorted out for him and it was all those shenanigans that gave may a lot of entertainment and kept me going re OG when there was no sign of it on TV. Thanks again for all that.

I think you're right in that BA wouldn't go for this as he does seem to be a reserved character.

Evening all! Agree -no way will BA ever do this but he would look hot, sexy, gorgeous oh calm down girl! in the ballroom dances. Not so sure about the Latin though
Glad Joe is top of the leaderboard tonight. Really liked his quickstep and think he's a lovely guy. How did Alexandra win the pasodoblethon? I didn't even see her and Gorka dance! Debbie is bloody good esp for her age - good luck to her.

Ok I'm thinking we've got the bones of another outing for CJ here. We all remember the naked fireside wrestling bouts I hope . Well, I think there's definite scope for a virtual SCD featuring CJ and a whole host of other suitable candidates. Naturally CJ would end up lifting hte glitter ball trophy. We could have so much fun with the choice of dances, outfits and music.

Just a small aside here - but am I missing something with all the "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss" chants for AJ and Mollie? That surprises me exceedingly!

I suppose it could be an all male version of SCD apart from their dance partners although perhaps we ought to offer some good strong female role models as well.

Nah..only joking let's stick with an all male fantasy SCD and their partners can be any female professional from any series since SCD started, that will give us plenty of scope. Can't wait for the outfits and music part

This could be difficult right enough. If you feel it has to be CJ doing it and not BA then it really can't be LP but needs to be Elvis. Then if you take on Ilove's idea of Tim Hiddleston he'd probably have to be The Nught Manager, whatever his name was. Then there's Poldark (Aiden Turner) and if you think ifof a character for James Norton probably best to think of Sidney 'whatever' from Grantchester, rather than his character from Happy Valley. Lots of fun here.

I'm off to Paris the week after next - maybe I could invite BA along. He must surely be finishing filming in Malaysia soon? And LP has been delayed in his filming due to the devastation in Puerto Rico so he might be at a loose end too.

I'd be happy with BA or CJ, similarly LP or Elvis.

Richard Rankin has been in quite a lot of dramas but my favourite was the role of an army surgeon in The Crimson Field by the name of Thomas Gillen - might have been the uniform and all the flirty glances and suppressed emotions. I'm rubbish at photos on here I need the help of my DD but here is a link to gain a flavour.

What do you think would be the difference(s) between BA and CJ doing SCD?

Magi - James Norton danced rather well as Prince Andrei in War and Peace ... and very dashing in uniform too!

I loved Richard Rankin in The Crimson Field. Felt obliged to re-watch a fair few scenes featuring him on the dvd
