This dance was made for Debbie. That was brilliant!

Thanks ilove I'll take what I can get.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/11/2017 19:47

Thought Debbie's tango was technically brilliant but I feel there could have been a little bit more passion. Or is that just me?

Ilovelblue · 25/11/2017 19:47

Thinking about it Rhu, I reckon LP would be more of a Latin man (maybe it's his Italian roots).

I reckon she'll get 39 because Craig mentioned some tiny detail.

Ilovelblue · 25/11/2017 19:48

Tracy hard to be passionate with Giovanni - I don't like him at all.

Rhubarb01 · 25/11/2017 19:49

ooh ilove what would be his best dance? Rumba man or to be honest I could see him doing a rather sultry Argentine Tango.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/11/2017 19:49

Lol Grin

Rhubarb01 · 25/11/2017 19:51

Ahh ilove I do think Giovanni has treated Debbie like a favourite youngish Aunt. It could have been a really cringey partnership given the age difference.

The Waverley is usually moored in Bristol unless it has moved somewhere. I am off to google it now.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/11/2017 19:51

Ooh I could see Elvis doing a perfect paso doble.

Anyone seen the film Strictly Ballroom?
It's one of my favourite films.......along with the Great Escape!

Rhubarb01 · 25/11/2017 19:52

I think it's Susan's week to go, if I am honest. They better not give her 9's because she's entertaining but not that technically great. Nice dress!

Rhubarb01 · 25/11/2017 19:54

Quite a range of films there Tracy Grin although I like both as well. Love Strictly Ballroom - such a sweet, funny, clever film. Also can't beat a bit of Steve McQeen the Cooler King!

Ilovelblue · 25/11/2017 19:56

You know what Rhu - I could see him doing the Charleston actually. (Is that Latin or ballroom?) Also the jive. I absolutely adore watching the jive and would love to be able to do it. (Shoulders so not up to the challenge though).

I think BA would look heavenly in tails in something like the waltz, foxtrot or quickstep.

Not seen that film Tracy but have heard about it numerous times. Maybe I need to get hold of a copy.

That's me a bit eclectic.
Also just wanted to say everyone is lovely on this thread Blush

Ilovelblue · 25/11/2017 19:58

I think Tracy it's our loveliness that's kept this thread going so long!

OP posts:
TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/11/2017 20:00

Yes you need to watch it ILove

Rhubarb01 · 25/11/2017 20:00

Aww thanks Tracy it's become a bit of an unspoken rule on here that we don't go in for bashing other posters. All opinions welcomed here.

Apparently The Waverley does excursions from all over the place these days. I suppose it was up in Scotland when Susan was on it.

Now then ilove I'm reckoning CJ could do a masterful American Smooth.

Oh goodness here comes the Paso Doblathon. I didn't listen to the rules.

Ilovelblue · 25/11/2017 20:02

Nice of you to say so though.

I have read some of the "Trending" threads and you do get some people who don't hold back at all and can be quite vicious!

OP posts:
TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/11/2017 20:02

I could really see CJ nailing the Paso Doble, with the dance having that strictness & reserved damn hot passion.

Ilovelblue · 25/11/2017 20:04

In that case ladies, we need to write to the BBC and suggest he is an excellent candidate for SCD 2018! I'd stick more than a fiver on him if he was in it.

OP posts:
TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/11/2017 20:05

Excellent idea ILove

Rhubarb01 · 25/11/2017 20:08

Oh my goodness ilove just imagine how much fun we'd have watching SCD and ITT. Of course, everyone would claim he was a ringer because he went to drama school. I've got say though that as much as we'd like it I think he's probably too shy and maybe too serious about his career to do it, unless he fancies being cast in stage musicals - as that's usually the route that actors take who do this.

Ilovelblue · 25/11/2017 20:13

I'm a bit under the weather tonight I think with a headache I don't seem to be able to shift. Didn't help that I was out this morning - roughly a 60 mile round trip on the motorway where it was sleeting and snowing half the time. When the sun came out, the hills in the distance looked lovely covered in snow but it was a tiring journey. So apologies if my comments weren't particularly erudite.

OP posts:
Rhubarb01 · 25/11/2017 20:16

Well then bottom two predictions - it should be Susan, it was obvious that judges were trying to point that out. The second one is a bit difficult to say. I think it could be Mollie BUT if it is her with Susan I'm sure she will go through unless she trips over completely. If it is Mollie with anyone else it she will probably go although Gemma's Samba thing wasn't very well received so that could be very close - down to Shriley to decide. You know me I'll check the Strictly spoiler later!

Magi84 · 25/11/2017 20:16

That's some idea you've come up with there Ilove. This thread would go ballistic I reckon. Can we leave it to you to pick the professional partner for him?

Rhubarb01 · 25/11/2017 20:20

Well, slap yourself round the face with a wet fish ilove ! (Don't be daft!) Smile

Sorry, you're not feeling too bright. Be kind to yourself, cuddle up with one of your lovely cats and find a copy of Strictly Ballroom on t'internet somewhere - it will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy!
