There is a school of thought of course that Georgie is a bit of a rum 'un on the quiet. There was Elvis, then Jamie (also known on here as Dr Dull), followed by a one night stand with Elvis again, didn't marry Jamie, falls for Milan, then goes back to Elvis....... and now this new guy who has the salubrious name of Bones.

This is my second favourite photo of Elvis. I've not had time yet to crop Rab out.

I just wonder how this is all going to end.... I've heard after the 3 sets on mini series that will be it for our girl (with MK atleast)

MK has been away filming for about 7 months she said and hadn't expected 12 episodes, just the 5 as in the previous series, so we think she's throw in the towel after this series. If they still want to do OG, it would seem obvious for somebody such as Maisie to be the main focus. We are all fans of Captain James on here and we are worried for his wellbeing too!

ilove who is the actor playing Bones and where did the intel on this come from ? I am guessing that he may be called Bones because his real name is McCoy - a reference to Dr McCoy in Star Trek or even the one from the American series Bones - her name is Brennan - only please don't say it's another one with rude connotations.

Secondly, surely we aren't going to have another Georgie rescue scenario with SF? I wouldn't mind betting she absolutely hates the guy who possibly rescues her this time because he isn't Elvis. Oh surely not!

The actor is Olly Rix. I'd never heard of him and did wonder if he was related to Brian Rix (am giving my age away there). No idea what his character is called other than Bones, sorry. He's come from the same LAMDA as BA.

Yes, it looks as if Georgie is going to be kidnapped again. Maybe she will slap this rescuer across the face too?

On a slightly different note, has anyone been reading MissyMoo on ff? It's called Twist of Fate and is a different take on Molly and CJ as she was held hostage in Kenya. That author updates so regularly. There are some great stories on the fanfiction site at the moment.

Thanks for the information. I will wait with bated breath to see what happens. I found an article on the RT website about the next instalment which seems to imply it will be pretty early in 2018 - I hope so as it would be good if it wasn't too long between them.

I don't see MK staying too long. Plus there's not that many more times Georgie can get kidnapped and rescued by SF before it'd get a bit samey. I wouldn't be surprised if the next series (assuming there is one) has a different medic.

After all our chat last night about Elvis I realised that much as I like him this is my man in OG without him it would not be the same

Flower - I agree wholeheartedly! I felt the same with the possibility of BA and LT as a couple in real life at the end of series 1. Realised afterwards of course that really the chemistry they had created made them excellent actors. In RL they both had other interests and in fact LT has recently married her very long term partner.

Can't say I felt the same about any MK/LP partnership, just that they too acted well for the situation required for this story line. Special Forces guys are after all more gung-ho.

As with all of you, I can't wait for the next part of the series to begin.
Going back to Elvis, he looked so different in this series to the last one. At first I thought it was a different actor but then I realised it was his hair (so much better shorter) & he looked cleaner well not as yukky grubby. He still looks a bit grubby but in a good way like your DH, DP, gorgeous bloke down the street does when they've been doing some hardcore gardening, car fixing, even diy etc.
Finally in order to stop the emotions getting the better of me, I've decided that Elvis didn't really die, he lost a leg or a foot & him & Georgie got married & lived happily ever after (with the help of some trauma counselling.)
Meanwhile Georgie's identical twin sister Charlotte (Charlie) who hasn't appeared previously as she's been a research scientist in the Antarctic or on the ISS or something or the other with NASA, has joined the army & taken over from Georgie.

P.S. At first I couldn't decide between an arm or a leg/foot. But then decided that Elvis would find it even psychologically harder to lose an arm.

Morning all! Or Evening for me. I have not posted for awhile as I am still waiting to see this series.
However I have really enjoyed lurking around and reading all you postings.
Elvis is a firm favourite of mine and I loved the way he portrayed his character.
I have never been a fan of MK but firmly believe she and Mark Wright are made for one another!!!
I do wonder what will happen in the next 2 series, but I am more concerned about CJ relationship with Molly, and how he will cope with all that had gone on. Especially after losing Elvis and not coping with the earthquakes disaster.
I am hoping TG will give some insight into PTSD.
Did I read somewhere that MK falls for the new Captain 👩‍✈️? She certainly gets around.

Tracy I had to laugh at your description of the Series 3 Elvis being grubby in an appealing sort of way. I am supervising two guys doing some tree pruning for my elderly neighbour today. He's not well and I'm doing his garden myself but can't manage the trees as they've got out of hand. I can categorically state that this pair are not grubby in an appealing sort of way at all! Hahahaha. I do know what you mean though.

On another thread, somebody reports having seen Luke Pasqualino in Hobbycraft in Peterborough (where he lives when he's not Elvis going around the world killing people). I did have to smile at that - LP and Hobbycraft do not go together in my vivid imagination. I would think of him more coming out of Toni & Guy having had his new sharper hair style trimmed!

Pixie I can imagine LP rooting round a Hobbycraft store. On that twitter video (the one where he answers questions & thanks everyone for watching OG) I thought he had a bit of the young Philip Schofield about him. I could see LP reading the CBeebies Bedroom Story or messing about with an empty fairy liquid bottle & double sided sticky tape.
Or maybe he was method acting in the style of Elvis & his character in Snatch around the store

It's going to be strange tonight not arranging the evening so that I am glued to the television at 9pm. Maybe it's a good time to watch the final episode again ready for our watchalong.

This popped up on Youtube last night (I swear I wasn't searching but Youtube knows me too well maybe).

I've never heard of Build as a network and it's a bit tame. You won't learn anything you didn't already know but if all you want is to see LP as himself and not as Elvis, it's worth a few minutes viewing. The interviewer is someone very young so I guess this network is supposed to appeal to teenagers and 20 somethings. She is almost beside herself at being able to interview him - it's quite sweet.
