And the new format is a bit confusing.
Simon has definitely washed his hands of it all- so the Great British Public will be responsible for all the votes, no judges votes at all.
Someone will leave on Saturday, and Sunday as well (I think). There will be no deadlock.

And the top two acts get to sing again to compete to win great prizes (I think Simon has been watching Crackerjack (crackerjack)).

The categories are split over the nights - I think.

Some of the song choices are very odd- and I think the ones who sing original songs are at real disadvantage with the GBP.

I see that they are going to be voting them off in two's. Like a Noah's ark or something. That explains the short run of the live shows and why were were tortured for months with the never-ending auditions.

I am watching Strictly atm, They have a fab Halloween theme going on Seeing as X factor lets us down this year!

Why is the live show so much later in the year this year? In previous years I'm sure we've had a couple of live shows before the Halloween special

There's 16 acts and only 6 weeks of live shows so they're going to be getting rid of at least 2 a week.

Someday I know it has changed, there did used to be a show or 2 before the Halloween special.

They are trying to make it fresh and new, I don't think it's working
