and the new twists etc are all a bit of a mess- so listen very carefully Grin

I will be out (out) so to cheer myself up, I am starting the thread a bit early.

And the new format is a bit confusing. Grin
Simon has definitely washed his hands of it all- so the Great British Public will be responsible for all the votes, no judges votes at all.
Someone will leave on Saturday, and Sunday as well (I think). There will be no deadlock.

And the top two acts get to sing again to compete to win great prizes Grin (I think Simon has been watching Crackerjack (crackerjack)).

The categories are split over the nights - I think.

Told you it was confusing.

The wildcards haven't officially been announced, so don't know what they are singing. And I'm sad about the lack of Hallowe'en songs.

Some of the song choices are very odd- and I think the ones who sing original songs are at real disadvantage with the GBP.

Anyway. Off to watch dd1 play football in the rain. Will check in later, before I go off to my party.

It's only the first show and she's already relying on the Grandpa power

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 28/10/2017 20:53

When she did that silly voice she was just like Moaning Myrtle!

nancy75 · 28/10/2017 20:53

She’s reminding me of Kate Middleton for some odd reason

The80sweregreat · 28/10/2017 20:53

She has lovely hair. Dont know this song.
Very arty set.

TheFairyCaravan · 28/10/2017 20:53

DS2 works in Spoons. I asked him when he was home last weekend if he'd ask her for ID and he said no

InigoTaran · 28/10/2017 20:53

Another shouty song

She does scrub up well tho

MusicToMyEars800 · 28/10/2017 20:54

Why have they stuck a load of poles in the stage..

She went off pitch there.

nancy75 · 28/10/2017 20:54

Why don’t they sing songs that people might want to hear?

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 28/10/2017 20:54

I don't know any of these songs! (Am such a grumpy old woman tonighht)

MusicToMyEars800 · 28/10/2017 20:55

nancy I agree!! Something we know might be a good start Grin

Piggywaspushed · 28/10/2017 20:56

I was just contemplating whether Simon actually is watching at home or whether he watched Strictly and has gone to bed now with a cocoa and a book.

MusicToMyEars800 · 28/10/2017 20:56

They all keep emphasising that she's 'only 16' It's to throw us all off the scent that she's secretly in her 30's.

dillite · 28/10/2017 20:56

nancy is it the bouncy hair and the overlined eyes?

The80sweregreat · 28/10/2017 20:56

You could be the next Louisa Johnson Holly.
Just bear this in mind.

Piggywaspushed · 28/10/2017 20:57

Also, no one gets that excited when I serve up lasagne at home.

Sorry - delayed reaction.

allaboutthatsass · 28/10/2017 20:57

how are we meant to vote?

nancy75 · 28/10/2017 20:57

I reckon Simon threw himself down those stairs, he’s probably disappointed he only got a sick note to cover one night

TheFairyCaravan · 28/10/2017 20:57

If they cut back on the ads they could get it over with in half the time.

The80sweregreat · 28/10/2017 20:58

Si and Eric channel surfing at home.
' whats this dad ? '
' nah son, casualtys on now mate..'

Piggywaspushed · 28/10/2017 20:58

music , I actually thought you meant Polish people.

nancy75 · 28/10/2017 20:58

Yeah but if they cut back the ads how would they pay for all the pleather?

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 28/10/2017 20:58

I've had to admit defeat and defect to Harry Potter History of Magic on BBC2!

dillite · 28/10/2017 21:00

I just logged into a casino website and there was my cousin's face staring at me

MusicToMyEars800 · 28/10/2017 21:01

Piggy Grin It took me a minute to 'get ' your post Grin I would never be able to tell if the dancers on stage were polish.

Chandler might have to flick between, I do love Harry Potter.

The80sweregreat · 28/10/2017 21:01

Dillite, sounds a bit scary! Is he or she famous,,?
