And the new format is a bit confusing.
Simon has definitely washed his hands of it all- so the Great British Public will be responsible for all the votes, no judges votes at all.
Someone will leave on Saturday, and Sunday as well (I think). There will be no deadlock.

And the top two acts get to sing again to compete to win great prizes (I think Simon has been watching Crackerjack (crackerjack)).

The categories are split over the nights - I think.

The wildcards haven't officially been announced, so don't know what they are singing. And I'm sad about the lack of Hallowe'en songs.

Some of the song choices are very odd- and I think the ones who sing original songs are at real disadvantage with the GBP.

Hate the new format. Just seems to be another money making exercise, hoping viewers pay to vote on Sat, Sun AND for the sing-off (which, lets face it, is a complete anti-climax as we only really care who is in or out)!

Surely as the contestant numbers go down they won't be able to do the two night thing?

I don't get this new format at all.

The eliminated person is a causal 'oh, you're at the bottom and out - bye then' but the people at the top have loads of fuss and extra votes to see who wins a special treat. And they don't even sing a new song for their trouble

What a load of crap dragged out over even longer.

I used to quite like the Sunday show with the extra guests and the sing off.

This was utter shite.

It's a very odd format- and apparently, as Dermie kept alluding to it there was a 'theme'. Just not a very obvious one .

Obvious themes are good. But they clearly want to work with the 'original' stuff, so can't have every one singing 'monster mash' and ' thriller' whilst Grace warbles sub- Adele stalkery songs about her ex .

I don't like the new format. I think there were more acts in last nights show that deserved to go out of the competition that tonights, ok Talia was a bit rubbish (as were all of them really) but she may have had more votes than a some of last nights acts so had it been everyone competing on the same show she may have stayed in....IFYSWIM

Gotta I agree, splitting the categories up, over the nights, is a bit skewed and unfair. I am assuming they will not always be split in the same way, or perform on the same nights, or it will be wrong. I still think with a better song, Talia would have stayed in. But I've a feeling Nicole sabotaged her, because twice now, she's been forced to take her back.

I'm still too shocked by *Inigo' thinking Tracey looked like Sade to know how to respond

I've just been dropping the dc off at school and Stormzy was on the Breakfast show on the radio talking to Grimmy. It got me thinking that it would be great if he could come back and duet with one of the finalists.
I don't care which one- but it would make change from Nicole doing it . It would totally baffle Sobby. Not her thing at all .

I think they should bring back vocal coaches- Grace, Conor, Sean and TraceyLeanne could all do with some help for starters .

I really like the Stormzy single, which I have heard about 3 times this morning already- although the actual single features MNEK, not Labrinth, not sure why he was there last night, maybe scheduling conflicts. It would make a very nice Christmas number one. And it's not Spanish. And doesn't feature Justin Bieber. or Sean Paul .

I've also had a thought about the prize- what if Grace ends up badly affected by jet lag? It's all right for these celebs, who are used to doing it week in and week out, and they just ignore their body clocks.

maybe it's not such a good prize after all- but a cunning plan to see who can survive the exhaustion

And I still wonder what will happen if the same person wins every week. There will soon be resentment in the house

Raahh Well Simon fainted from exhaustion with all the travelling and different time zones, I think the prizes of jetting off and then coming back to perform is silly, but like you said, maybe it's to test them

That's probably the plan, get the same contestant winning and cause rifts, or to exhaust the person so they mess up on the live show hopes that will happen

I've also decided to keep my typo, of Grave instead of Grace as nickname, because her singing is Grave and dire and she is very stalker-like .

Grave is an excellent nickname. She may soon be 6 foot under, if she jets across the atlantic every week

Poor Simon

Obviously the biggest talking point of the evening was Nicole's chest. If it was was a ploy to distract from the show itself, it worked a treat .We were mesmerised on the thread. Simon will have taken note, I'm sure, and it will not be the last we will see of the Sherzy twins.

I was mesmerised too, she has got a great rack I couldn't stop looking that the bloody things, and every time she threw her arms up I was waiting for a nip to pop out

Can't wait to see what the other 'money can't buy ' prizes are. Well, maybe I can. Singing lessons would definitely be a go-er for some of them. I do think it might end up being between Rat Soup and Grave every week though. Although, that can't happen if the groups and the girls perform on the same night, can it? Only one act each night can come top, and they must mix it up each week, or it won't be fair.

So if Grace's song are being cowritten by other songwriters why are they not credited? Or are they? I don't get this.

It does make me laugh how it says, 'An original song' that she 'wrote'... Well she didn't write the song all by herself did she it was co written.

The sing Grace sang last night should really credit Justin Timberlake, have a listen to Mirrors
