Right, I've caught up now. I see Shona did not give the money to the Viking (but I missed the part where she didn't - just heard her reference it later on). I also know that Amy had to write a letter of apology because she put a stock cube in the shower head and covered Brian in gravy-scented water. Not sure what the point of that was though.

As if a 9 year old - think max is around that?- would manage to break into the sealed up factory.

Agree it was beyond belief that Billy would have stolen money. Also that someone (Rana) would burst into their husbands workplace, demand they have a baby, then storm off in a strop if they don't immediately agree it's a wonderful idea

Amy and Asda (I agree - when did they become friends?) knocked into Brian at the bottom of the stairs. Brian was carrying a takeaway cup without a lid (health & safety Brian!) and the coffee spilt - however, we all know that they never have any liquid in the cups so you didn't see the spillage only a stain on his shirt which was under a jacket. That was about the only part I watched properly - the rest was equally as ridiculous !

It is ridiculous and so much of it make no sense, Why would Shona want to even bring Clayton back into her life? He stabbed Kylie and killed her, and Only wanted to know Shona when he wanted something, Horrible scabby little character he is.

I don't know why Eva doesn't give Adam a chance, he's a much better catch that Aidan and isn't a cheating scumbag.

I think the writers must all have gone away or died or something and the actors are just turning up each day and making it up themselves as they go along.

Why would Gandy not just go to the police immediately he is free and so free Daniel?

Why would Shona not just tell vile ex to FOTTFSOF?

Why would the vicar suddenly turn into a thieving git?

Why would Amy need to write an apology letter for knocking coffee over Brian's shirt? Over-reaction... just say oops sorry FFS.

So many other stupid things.... argh.

Vic Reeves always makes me feel ill. There is something revolting about him.

I really don't understand the logic in Gandy's plan. Why would they need to replace him? Surely if Phelan wants assurance he won't spill the beans then it would be easiest to make him commit a crime, not lumber themselves with another hostage?

So sick of the Andy/Phelan storyline. Where the writers got this 'plan', I dont know, but its plain as day not one of them has thought it through. What's to stop Andy going straight to the police on his release and getting Daniel freed? What a load of stupid nonsense.

It's all just been scrambled together like they decided sensational stories are a much better watch than humour and good acting.

My grandad decided to stop watching recently, for the first time since it started. Its got THAT bad.

Presumably Pat thinks Gandy would be so fearful of repercussions that he will avoid police like the plague.Agree with whoever who queried why Pat would saddle himself with another hostage-just why???

Surely Gandy could just tell the police anyway and tell them that he was threatened and forced into committing the crime, and can tell them that he's been held hostage for however long it's been!!

There's so many damn holes in this hostage plot it's like Swiss cheese! Why doesn't Pat revive plan A, get Gandy out of the country,using the fake passport he's presumably hung onto since the van crash saga...

So many holes with the Phelan/Gandy story, ridiculous. Agree Anne Gandy is trying to get him to release him so Phelan isn’t troubled with a hostage... by replacing him with another hostage. Oooorrr is is that Gandy will have to kill Daniel to be level on evilness with Phelan and therefore they can both be free?
