What hideousness was Nicola(?) wearing - mustard/yellow satin culottes that seemed to be shorter and cut away at the back with a regular coat. I find her a very dislikable character and would she really tell Eileen and Phelan she was pregnant? Any sensible mature person would think about the dilemma and sort it out. She seems to have very little stress or work to worry about as a Social Worker.

As for Billy stealing the £1k from Adam's office - very weird!! Why give some to Sean ? He has had 2 jobs for donkeys years and got the receptionist job virtually straight away - he must be minted! and Fizz lives with Tyrone in a mortgage free house and he is a business owner in a busy garage - hardly destitute. As usual no one has ever heard of "benefits"! Surely as an assistant (p/t?) vicar Billy would have less money than the factory workers. Random and crap

you're right wormu Fiz and Tyrone are always acting broke, but, given everything you stated, should be amongst the more well off on the street. Same for Sean as a singleton working two jobs and only paying lodgers rent......

I find Nicola boring. She doesn't seem real to me; when she's talking about her non-Coronation street life it never seems to ring true. Those mustard slacks seemed to be slashed up the sides. I'm not keen on her brows either.

From her reaction to Phelan's photo it looks like Nicola's mum was raped.

Agree with this. It's odd. I think because she doesn't live or work on the street she just seems to appear randomly and it's too unrealistic. She is supposed to be a probation officer? That's a full on stressful job. Why does she have so much time to be springing up behind people?

He beat him to a pulp in the flat (when We originally thought he had killed him) and I assumed put him in the cellar whilst still unconscious.

These story lines where they pick up issues then completely forget about them come from not having character-driven stories. The show is the poorer for that. If they had more confidence in the depth of the characters and the actors abilities the show would be richer (still sad about Mavis and Derrick).
