So Brian just goes into Bessie Street school & has a word with the headteacher and miracle of miracles there's a place for Joseph

Did he not just say that he'd only spoken to the school secretary and got Chesney an appointment at the school. He inferred he would try and pull strings but ultimately did nothing really

I thought he said there was a place for Joseph from January ...but I may have drifted off to sleep from boredom and imagined it.

I think Brian said the head could see Chesney (and Joseph) in half an hour! So Chesney had to hot foot it round to the school (why did Brian not text/phone?) and Joseph ran upstairs and was left with a disgruntled Siobhan as there was "no time" to bring Joseph then.

Siobhan is being so mardy about Joseph. They all seem so emotionally unintelligent and lacking in empathy.

I see David has now gone all beardy pity as I like him a lot as a character. He has started looking most unbecoming now he has gone the beardy Kevin Webster route.

I thought David looked better with haircut and beardy, he looks older, instead of looking like he is 12

Why is Sinead so unwilling to look after Joseph? She's supposed to be very in love with the child's father, knew he was going abroad to take him back before she proposed, and even if she'd stayed with Daniel, she'd be looking after their own baby-if it had been kept

Akire - the writers obviously follow the Disney policy of killing off the parents in every story.

I think Sinead is finding child care for Joseph difficult because she's still upset about her abortion.
