when actors are suspended isn't it usually with immediate effect? Like when the man who played Yasmeeen's husband was sacked. So they'll have to think up some silly reason that Todd is suddenly gone.

The guy who played Yasmin's husband Sharif had no defence really - his racist comment was on his social media. Likewise, Chris Fountain's rape "music". However,, Bruno Langley has not been found guilty of anything. As with Bill Roach and Michael Le Vell, they should have suspended him.

I'm not interested in teen storylines but I feel sorry for the Summer actress if the story about her departure is true. What an opportunity squandered, through no fault of her own. It's a bit like the actress who played Sharif's mistress - she was written out by necessity too. I'd rather see Todd go to prison/be forced to move away for his role in the Calcutta Street scam - at least no other actor will be adversely affected then.

As Todd's the only person who knows that Phelan was fully involved in the flats scam, that's another crime that I now just can't see how they will ever be able to connect back to him (Phelan).

I dont see why they can't write Todd out by having him killed in a random accident, like happens in real life - but no, they never seem to do anything that would plausibly happen in real life any more.

He was charged this morning with two counts of sexual assault.

I think there will be urgent call for help from Jason (wherever he is now) and Todd will fly out to help him. If Summer has to be written please God can Billy go too. Otherwise he will doubtless end up back with Sean and I cannot stand him. Where does Sean even live nowadays?

With any luck Billy will return to the vicarage, never to be seen again.

Sean does implausibly live with Norris! Sean has had no storylines or much to do for a long time like Sophie (hurray). There are quite a few characters who could be axed without anyone noticing. They went to a lot of trouble and money reportedly to get Peter and Toyah back and they have had fairly sparse and rubbish storylines.

All soap houses are infinitely expandable - look at the Platt's (even with the annex) Gail, David and Shona, Max, Lily, Bethany, Jack and Sarah Lou. Everyone talks about going to their "their" room but surely they must share and I can't imagine the arguments for the toilet in t'morning!
They used to be 2 up 2 down houses. Steve and Andy used to always moan about having to share as did Todd and Jason when younger but they all now seem to be 4 bed + despite the downstairs being miniscule.

Do Sophie and Rosie live with Kev? It would need to be a 4 bed with a second reception also used as a bedroom. How on earth has Mary got her own room - that house has 2 bedrooms when Len Fairclough built it IIRC

Jason has joined the cast of Home and away AFAIK.

I hate toyah and peter. They’re such a boring couple. I couldn’t care less if their surrogate is pregnant or not. I never liked peter but toyah used to be a great character before she returned with her constant gurny face.

I think Rosie lives with Sally and Sophie lives with Kevin. Not 100% sure though.
