I'm watching it on iplayer about 25 mins delay. But it's soooo weird! I'm up to the bit where his mum is telling him about the pub, The Bell, when she was pregnant with him. Weird weird weird. And I don't get their demeanour at all; if my daughter ever went missing, I wouldn't spend a day doing anything else other than searching for her.

I didn't watch it, as had to go out!

Very quick pregnancy - why didn't she tell him sooner but ring him during labour?!

Was the book better? Or just longer?

I loved it. The book is one of my favourites though- so clever.
