I am catching up on it now. I feel sorry for the way they have just treated rj. That's was not nice. The some of the men are still being dicks

Rj should be the leader and not iwan

They over looked rj's abillity and how they spoke to him made me cross. If they listened to him from the beginning, I think they would be in different position.
Love the women. They are great with lots of skills. The men trying to prove themselves while letting everyone else down.
This episode has really annoyed me. I have never been so pissed off at a group of men throwing their weight about.

What were they doing to RJ?

purpleme12, they didn't like the fact that RJ knew what he was doing, he was the only one with any sense, he couldn't understand why they were all moaning and complaining but doing nothing to help, Iwan said there's no point lighting a fire because they had fresh water, RJ said they needed a fire anyway, but no one would listen to him, also he built shelter for them and collected water during the night, basically he showed them up

Never once did we see other three men try and make fire. They had the strength but where focused on other macho things. Rj knew what to do but I don't think he had the same strength as iwan. I guess bending down and making fire was beneath him.

For me it was how they treated a disable person. He asked the rizzle kicks lad to help him go into the woods and he patronised him. Stating how it's not pretty. But rj has constantly through the show has stated how out doorsy he is. How patronising was that. He was the most out for person among them all he also would have gone, but the rule was you go off in pares.

Iwan being the one suffering the most in the night and being saved by one of those they looked down at.

To a degree I am glad he left. I bet next week the teepee will still be standing and the only thing to sleep under.

I was gutted when RJ left too. He was positive and practical - a great person to have with you on an island.

I agree with everything you've said about Iwan. Omg when they TD him about the Cayman and then his 'I don't even feel bad' attitude afterwards. And the way he walked into camp with it over his shoulders 😕

I have to say, I found Sharon's 'I feel sad but it was him or us' comment a bit too. Not really Sharon. Yes, they're hungry, but they'll never starve to death on a TV programme. And the poor thing was probably planted there anyway (along with the pineapples!). And before anyone asks, yes, I do eat meat but I don't like to see it hunted in such a clumsy way and then sat on and killed. At least it was killed quickly (when they finally caught it!). Shame it didn't take a wee bite out of Iwan's arm before it's fateful end!

Not sure about RJ tbh, seemed all down to earth and huge knowledge of the outdoors but leaves in a strop when he doesn't get his own way? how is that any better than any of the other alpha males beating their chests and wanting to lead? I was a bit disappointed tbh. The way they patronised him was shocking and ds pointed out there might have been a lot more of that that was edited and he'd just had enough.

The way they were grabbing that Cayman's tail was appalling,they were lucky to not get bitten. Sharon got her point across about doing what they'd been shown quite well I thought.

MrsJayy, his brother is Adam he was in I'm a celeb and was as much as a tool as Jason is on the island.

I don't think RJ left in a huff as such i think he could see how it was going to go and he couldn't be arsed with it so left.

I think it's because he asked for help and they didn't listen to him. They would have been able to do it if they had used their strength, making fire instead of try to put two sticks together making so thing that does not resemble a house. With his disability, he didn't have as much strength as the others. If you listen to him, he does say, how he tried to get them to do things and it took outsiders to get them to listen.

They might have followed his instructions when they were at their worse. It should not take hitting rock bottom for them to be able to listen to him. Who knows. They probably did because the iwan was busy shivering, borderline hyperthermia, stopping him from throwing his weight about.

I just think it will be pants without RJ he would have kept them alive

Is Shazia really the only one left able to swim?

There's a lot of learned helplessness there, isn't there. "I can't tidy up, I'm no good at it." "I suppose I could fish, but you are so much better." "I can't fan the fire, I'm no good at it." It's infuriating.

Shazia is amazing. The men are useless but I like Ryan.

I liked it at the end when Shazia said as a Muslim and Asian woman there's always been a limit put on her as to how much she can do but she's proven she can do anything she wants to do now
