Anyone else looking forward to GBBO starting again?

I know it won't be the same without Mary, Mel and Sue but it's still got cake!

Noel's voiceovers have a slightly creepy quality to them, like he's deliberately softening his voice.

Totally agree @lemonRedwood and as I used to watch the Mighty Boosh when I was younger its just a bit weird him being so normal!

Ok so far but I too miss Mary, Mel & Sue. Does anyone else think that Mel is really stunning but nobody ever says? Such a lovely person too. I really like Sandi Toksvig.

I keep expecting Noel to break into a crimp. It's really not too bad though. Prue is hardest to warm to.

I jus hope that Noel and Sandy do what Mel and Sue did - apparently if any of the contestants got really upset and cried they would comfort them by swearing lots so that the footage couldn't be used.

Noel's voiceover is mega creepy...like he's trying too hard to be normal.
I've hated Sandi since she was on No. 73 when I was a kid...still can't stand her.

I think the first ep of most shows are a bit meh and then they warm up so hopefully the chat will pick up with confidence
