Watched the end of Delpo's match. Inverdale is so annoying. He needs to master the art of keeping shtum unless he has something useful or interesting to say. Glad to see Delpo win though, even if it did take him too many match points.

When they ban golf tennis will be the most boring thing on television.

I hate golf and football and most sports , but i like a tennis match or snooker.
I hate Olympic years or the big footie events. Goes on forever.
Strange isnt it what we can tolerate. Also hate F1. Pointless sport.
But then most sport is i guess.

There are points next week when both BBC channels are offering Wimbledon and it's all wrong. Even having two different sports is to offer no real choice. One channel for sport - one for the rest of us, please.

I agree that its on too much. The 2012 Olympic year it was four weeks of nothing but sport.
Just put tennis on bbc 2 maybe, or the red button.

To be fair, Murray could have been injured, and still chose to play yesterday. They all leave it to the last minute to make the decision.

But it does rather echo the US open last year when Djok went through 3 rounds on the back of retirements and withdrawals. not his fault, of course. But he was very lucky.
