Am most excited & thought the grass needs a new thread.

I'll stick my neck out & say Fed to win the mens' & Carolina Plisshkova (sp?) for the womens'.

Roof was in construction for years, cost a fortune yet nobody likes it!
Fickle these tennis types..

They certainly are funny about using the roof- there have been many times that I've thought closing it would make sense, especially when the weather has been really hit and miss. At least then they could have rescheduled some matches. Yet they didn't.

Rafa might be playing- just in time for me to go out at this rate!

Generally speaking, the weather at Wimbledon has improved since they built the roof!

hope you still get to see Rafa - they don't like to use the roof as they don't want it to become an "indoor" tournament but I think they could use it a bit more - need to get their money's worth!

Boris is really not convinced by the hip and is dressed like a line judge- he is also very red.

He was always a nice bloke, but I was never a fan, there were too many other players to watch. I never got into the 'supporting the Brit' thing. He was always around, being nice. He reminds me of a bank manager, really. He doesn't really look like a sportsman.

I'm not sure what happened in the Medvedev match, it seemed some points went against him when he was up 2-0 in the 5th, and wanted the umpire removed. I'm wondering if it's Eva Azderaki-(sp) I'm sure I've mentioned her before. She's a bit rubbish, in my opinion, and has form for some awful decisions. And if she doesn't like a player, she seems to carry it from match to match. Rafa is on her shit list, definitely.

Had tickets for No.1 court yesterday.

Saw Roanic, then Pliskova, then Thiem. None of these players had we seen before so it was a real treat.

We saw Djokovic walking through the crowds.

Caught the start of Kyle Edmunds on the big tv before heading in to find my seat.

Didn't need a hat as we were in gangway 37 after first match we were in shade ... loved it.

Never been this early in first week before, the grass looked amazing.
