Yes, I am. I think modern Corrie writers are trying to replicated the good old days when Corrie would do a good long lasting, slow burn story. Except now they just go in for circular and repetitive, thinking it's the same thing.

Hasn't Nicola got a flat somewhere? Didn't Phelan help her with buying it? Why didn't the dinner for Summer and the sex with Gary take place there?

What are the chances Nicola gets pregnant with the gurney one's baby? They always seem to have a pregnancy storyline going on somewhere. Toyah obviously isn't going to get joy with her surrogate otherwise she would have to smile at some point. That's never going to happen.

I'm sure they cut some of the groundwork for it, but forgot that the aftermath therefore didn't make any sense. As someone else said, what was it all about anyway? What fake homework? And what was Phelan doing there to take her to hospital? Wasn't she supposed to be on her own with Nicola?
With regards Nicola's flat, wasn't her offer only accepted a week or so ago? I'm actually impressed that they haven't had her move into it yet, but yes, she must leave somewhere because she certainly doesn't live with Eileen (yet).
