The wedding is surely gonna be a huge anticlimax. Everyone knows everything now...the only thing that could redeem it would be Aidan finding out about Eva's revenge plan, her fake pregnancy and choosing to stay with Eva regardless. All in front of Maria. Then Eva dumping him for Adam 😉

Eva seems to be regretting her chosen path.

I am looking forward to Monday's episodes for the first time in a while. But I hate the Rita storyline. I am sick of Gemma bellowing like a school play. I also find the attempts to "trick" Rita into admitting her memory is poor so, so distasteful.

@Opheliacat - YES! I've not heard anyone else say this about those awful attempts to trick Rita. Like making the Doctors appointment and making her sign the cheque, wtf?! Their behaviour's bordering on the criminal and would make her really worried n confused in real life, while sitting her down and chatting through what they've noticed would be the kind option. I'm disgusted by them. Absolutely cannot stand Gemma and try to turn my head away when she is on, her eating with her mouth open triggers my morning sickness! Bellowing like a school play indeed

Smeaton - can we have Tony Gordon coming back from the dead instead and taking them all out? Adam and Nicola can stay as his evil accomplices, together they can all breed a new cast

Gemma needs to go. They keep trying to recreate Becky and it doesn't work.

Gemma hasn't known Rita anything like long enough for the story to seem real on any level.

Actually, I prefer Gemma to Jenny, who has a permanently sour expression.

Jake should have started Reception this term; birthday 27th May 2013. Presumably that's where it was spotted. But you would have thought that it would have been mentioned by Nursery.

Eddie not in Corrie- I mean when exactly did anyone last actually interact with Jake?! He is in the forgotten tribe with Jack and Liam!

I couldn't remember if he was born 2013 or 2014. Tina died 2014 IIRC. So yes 2013.

I am worried the episodes for next weeks wedding/ no wedding are all hype and it will be a let down

It would be great if Eva's ridiculous revenge plot actually came to a head at the wedding, but I feel the writers will want to keep it endlessly dragging on......

I see we're back in The Land of the Midnight Sun; both hen and stag parties finished and still light outside.

Plot denouements on Corrie are always a let down. Don't get your hopes up that things are going to change anytime soon.
