We could get rid of a few that way.

I see there's a magical cure - this time for Chesney.

LineysRun · 18/09/2017 20:45

Scarily, I'm quite enjoying this.

captaincake · 18/09/2017 20:46

I mean when exactly did anyone last actually interact with Jake?! - might explain the speech delay!

Stillwaitingforsummer · 18/09/2017 21:01

Why did I feel sorry for Aidan?Hmm

PhelanGood · 18/09/2017 21:59

How dare they split a wedding between two days :( they can't leave it on that cliffhanger!

forcryinoutloud · 18/09/2017 22:13

Someone said Eva is stunning in a post way back. I beg to differ, she has a face like a smacked arse. Most of the time she looks like she's sucking a lemon through a sweaty sock.

Just sayin'

Akire · 18/09/2017 23:03

Confused again do we think Eva wanted to marry him? After she couldn't do the you slept with what's her face big scene. I mean why go through wedding unless she wanted it? She still spent all money and would left him at alter even if she had just said there's no baby he would been gutted and shown up. Though how she think if I forgive you for sleeping you will forget i lied about baby card and love happily after after.

opheliacat · 18/09/2017 23:08

Eva's dress is like a blancmange!

theliverpoolone · 18/09/2017 23:26

If that Will takes off then puts back on his glasses one more time, I will seriously throw something very heavy at my TV - it is SO annoying! And I'm sure he didn't have that whiny voice when he first came into it, when he was the husband of the bride Hmm

Clawdy · 19/09/2017 10:18

Yes, Will's voice is dreadful, that nasal whine. And as for those pantomimey smirks and grimaces over Michelle's shoulder, or as she walks away....Can't they see it would be far more interesting if we weren't actually sure he was a villain?

scrabbler3 · 19/09/2017 10:46

Vic/Jim was superb.

Do any hotel rooms still have those old fashioned locks? Haven't seen a key like that since the 1980s.

Catherine T and Shane W acted superbly, I thought. I kind of want their characters to resolve their problems because they work well together.

Disappointed to see that chesneys agoraphobia and anxiety have cleared up miraculously. I think that soaps have a duty to reflect mental health issues correctly. It's not as though he was integral to the wedding scene, which in fairness would have given the writers a dilemma.

Allthecarsarelonely · 19/09/2017 12:36

I agree Scrabbler, I want Eva and Aidan to stay together too.

Optimist1 · 19/09/2017 13:17

So someone's locked you in your hotel room. Do you :

a) Phone down to reception and ask them to send someone up to free you?
b) Open the window to shout to arriving wedding guests to help you out?
c) Thump on the door and shout "help" to an empty corridor?

Stillwaitingforsummer · 19/09/2017 13:48

I thought that about phoning reception!
Surely if it was such a huge wedding (so nobody thought it was a bit Hmm) then Eva would have had proper bridesmaids in the full gear?

blackbunny · 19/09/2017 14:14

I'm confused about Eva's bridesmaids-or lack of.
I knew Maria was going to be one,she dropped out cos Liam was ill (allegedly) but surely there was more than her? Was Toyah one? If she was wasn't she a bit casually dressed for a bridesmaid? Surely Eva would have had Leanne and Toyah?
And Jenny-was Gemma her only bridesmaid? Only the other day she said she was sacked, did she get reinstated?
I know I'm asking a lot to have this mess dissected and explained logically, but I've got everything faith in MN !

blackbunny · 19/09/2017 14:17

Think Vic Reeves was brilliant last night btw, reckon he's bigging Mary n Norris up to then expose their fraud
I'd like to see his character join Corrie

eddiemairswife · 19/09/2017 15:01

It's not just Will looking knowingly at the camera; both Phelan and Adam have done it. It's really irritating.
What happened about the 'designer' bridesmaids' dresses that featured in an earlier episode?

olliegarchy99 · 19/09/2017 15:26

what I found bizarre (even by corrie standards) were the scan photos under everyone's seat Hmm when did Maria put them there - and surely that was overkill when brandishing one photo of the scan would have sufficed.
And why when someone is in hospital are they in a private room with flexible visiting times and able to wander at will and find a party going on where they can burst into song !

Hospital was all wrong, granted worried about dementia but she wasn't on deaths door. So why stay? As if nurse would say use the showers!!! If was life n death could understand musing your own wedding but other wise? I'm obviously a heartless cow!

lizzieoak · 19/09/2017 15:59

We're a week behind with Andy. Just last night he did not call out to Eileen when she was at the top of the steps. Any progress? Put me out of my misery!

deadringer · 19/09/2017 16:32

Re bridesmaids, Kate was supposed to be jenny's bridesmaid but when aidan decided to get married too she became his 'best woman'. I assume leanne was set to be matron of honour for Eva but opted out at the last minute, as did Maria. I really enjoyed last night, although I didn't like vic reeves hamming it up all over the place. I am not a fan of his though so I might be biased.

lizzieoak · 19/09/2017 16:43

Thanks Smeaton - lord this is going on too long. Why do Corrie writers enjoy dragging things out so?

I must say, Andy is amazingly responsive to antibiotics. One minute he's at death's door, the next he's got his energy back. Must have been the kiss from Phelan!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/09/2017 21:58

I suppose dragging things out is the only way they are going to fill an extra episode a week, so a 3 day wedding ceremony is not boding well for a swift resolution to the Gandy saga.
