I'm looking forward to Eva's return. I always enjoy Mary/Norris and Mary/Tracy. The surrogacy storyline should be good, I'm assuming that the woman will get pregnant and then change her mind. I'm glad that Zzeedan is going ti have a decent storyline (assuming Rana is in love/lust with Kate) because he's been underused in the past.

So, lots to like, for me. This makes up for the Shona bore-fest, the lengthy hostage nonsense, and hammy Barbara Knox trying to portray someone with a neuro or memory condition.

Gary 'Anger Management' Windass kicking the shit out of Phelan might be worth watching. I have a lot of pent up anger since my oestrogen patch fell off and I didn't notice.

They've only just done a surrogacy storyline, though. I mean, it really isn't THAT common!

Over recent years I've found they seem to struggle to judge the length of time to drag something out. Things that would be better as a slow burn are over and done with really quickly and other story lines that would have been better done quicker seem to drag on and on.

I sometimes wonder if the writers actually communicate with each other, or whether they are playing a game of Consequences where they don't know what has gone before. Hence, one of them wants to keep Phelan as a baddie with Andy/Gandy/Gavin kept in the cellar, while the other wants him to redeem himself.

The actor who plays Will is just very ... odd. I suppose is character is odd, what with the mad stalking and all, but it just misses the mark completely.
