It was annoying for Fizz to ask brother like that, surely she knows he's off work. Who didn't have a new childminder for September set up with 2 weeks to go???

Aidan and Maria slept together before she went to prison. A randomer found Michelle, she was yelling in the car boot. Tim doesn't clean windows any more but it's still his business, sawphie and dozy are just keeping it going. Hope has been replaced. Chesney is such an awful actor I hope his issues are resolved soon or he goes to live with cilla or something. God I really need to get out more.

Omg Gemma was not wearing a flattering outfit at all ! Love her but omg the wardrobe dept need sacked . I know it's part of her character but it was not great for her self esteem

Tbf to Jenny I think she has rita's best interests at heart. She doesn't particularly like Gemma but gave her the benefit of the doubt until she heard Gemma saying she hated Rita. The whole wedding thing is annoying me, I know weddings in corrie are usually showdowns but no way would Jenny let Eva share her precious wedding day. No way no how.

I don't get why everyone seems ok with the Mary/Norris fake wedding - even Craig! Surely it's fraud? Pretending they're married to win a prize?

Isn't part of the prize a trip to South Africa? So Mary will be reunited with her long lost son (as opposed to just buying a plane ticket to visit him).
I think that's why everyone thinks it's ok.

As I read on another forum......the object of the wedding is to win a prize so that Mary can visit South Africa to see her son. However, the son is coming to the wedding, so they don't need to win the prize, so once he's here they can cancel the wedding.

I'm sure Emily would love to hear about the wedding.

Oh..but if they are going to cancel the wedding why are they bothering to prepare for it? Or is the prep part of the competition? I haven't watched in a while so may be missing something.

No, the son thinks it's genuine. They haven't said they will cancel it so far. I've just been a bit perplexed by Craig's offer of help and no one mentioning they could get in any bother. He is normally the moral compass! Surely their entry will be invalid once the newspaper sees they weren't married when they entered. Sigh! It's all a bit bonkers.

So silly. If the son is able to fly to the UK why fabricate the wedding, can't Mary just ask him to visit or go to SA herself. Surely he will be annoyed when he finds out it was all a ruse. Anyway, this soap stopped producing credible storylines a long time ago.
