The idea of any sort of 'passion' between Sinead and Chesney is laughable. Looks like they are going to rehash Tracey's obsession with Steve. Yawn.

The fact that Will had turned nasty is a bit odd. Mind you remember John Stape.

Why would Chesney take back Sinead anyway and want to trust her again, very unrealistic.

I have to admit, there is still the odd flash of slick humour that made Corrie great. I'm liking the relationship between Tracey and Mary and snorted last night when Tracey suggested they listen to something less racist on the radio. I also thought Liz getting caught listening to her own heart beat was quite funny - sort of thing I might do if I spotted a stethoscope and there was nobody else on the room.

But did they have to labour the queue at reception quite so much? Nobody would think it was ok to discuss loudly their son's love/sex life while people were waiting to check in. A bit of subtlety wouldn't go amiss!

I thought some woman in the multi-storey car park heard Michelle shouting for help and opened the boot to find her.

I remember Robert rushing into the police station where Michelle was sat shaking.

I think that's what happened but I only watch Corrie with half an eye nowadays as I find it quite dull or far fetched.

So to recap - the storylines are so rubbish that no one knows who found Michelle in the boot.
They've not bothered to show if auden and Maria have officially split up.
Michelle gets a car magically when needed for the plot.
Izzy has no pain any more.

Does anyone recall a time when Corrie was ever this bad before?

worm I don't knlw, I'm struggling. But then I think we tend to remember the odd hilarious moment or well executed storyline and forget the week to week bilge.

That said, the acting has got better, I was watching a YouTube clip of Audrey finding out Sarah Lou was pregnant and it is incredibly stilted and hammy from all concerned.

That's when she was pregnant with Bethany in the early 2000s, not with Harry.

Maria and Aidan officially broke up that time that Eva and Maria went to the hotel and Aidan followed them. Maria said she didn't want to see the fake baby growing up without a dad like her Liam did.

I stopped watching it a few years ago cos it was so rubbish. But I can't remember why! Or how I got dragged back in for that matter.
