New Holby City Thread

Thought I'd better start a new one since the old one filled up!!

I can't bloody wait until tonight's episode!!!!

But my husband is home!!!!!

I've been out all day, DH is picking me up from the station and DC are at their dads house. Not sure DH would appreciate me watching Holby

Predictions for tonight:

• Jac will be back doing surgery before the end of the episode

• Ollie’s frontal lobe will cause a major personality change and anger management issues, which he will refuse to address

• Dom will want to quit medicine

• The Ric thing will be forgotten

• Fletch will be really hot as he’s grieving for Raf

I think Dom will start to have some ksort bed of breakdown and Lofty will find him sobbing in the toilets and they will end up snogging.

Ollie will remain in his coma for the duration of the episode and all EEGs will show abnormal brain waves and everyone will be informed how small the chances are of him ever waking up.

Jac will wake up in this episode and find Jonny and Emma at her bedside and she will be all tearful about how close to death she came. She will be informed of Raf's death and her instant reaction will be of concern for Fletch and we will finally see that she's developing feelings for him and she will admit it to herself too.

The new winter casualty trailer is out and Jac is in there in the ED so obviously recovers fine and stays 😂

I am behind a bit. So a paramedic who was outside for the majority of the incident gets put on enforced leave. Dom who was practically hunted down by a gunman doesn't even take a day off

Was that in casualty?

That was great! All the differing ways characters are affected in the aftermath of the incident were portrayed very sensitively. Lovely to see Frieda again. (And Libby from EE is now a doc!)

Loved Hansen even more tonight if that's possible. Quite liked the newbies.

And laughed at "It's been emotional"

There wasbt much time tbh although given its been 3(?) weeks you think she'd fly over.

Interesting episode! Jac being her usual acerbic self whilst lowering defences ever so slightly for Fletch, newbies were mildly irritating but may come good, Dom and Lofty...(they really do need to just get together now!)

HH is interesting - his friend may be in a psychiatric unit, but was doing a great job if trying to bring him out a bit - reckon there's more to run on that story!

Loved Fletcher slagging off Jac and her being well yeah yeah I love you too, take Mr tel the loo

I was really disappointed tonight.

I don't like the fact they skipped three weeks, I was expecting them to literally pick up from last Thursday and gave the immediate aftermath.

I was so looking forward to it tonight but for lots of reasons it disappointed me.

It's quite traumatic watching all of that!
I'm concerned that we'll never see the old HH again though.

Loved the twist that the psychiatrist was the patient! I liked the new F1s, I’m glad Libby’s oxbridge education has left her in good stead.

Angry Fletch was quite sexy, I think they’re building up the Flec/Flac/Jatch tension nicely!

But most of all I loved the return of Frieda! That deadpan sarcasm! The gold coat! Those earrings!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Jack and Frieda will be a good match - won't make up for a lack of Collie and Matteo though. There's only Fletch to look at and he didn't wear his waistcoat tonight
