Thought I'd better start a new one since the old one filled up!!

Essie was very good at that shocked/brokenhearted crying, very moving.

I do wonder whether she'll be pregnant but something about the way she kind of breathed 'she didn't know' about the triplets mum (about the 3rd baby, she'd thought she had twins) makes me think a mental health crisis may be on the cards and she takes the triplet in her anguish over Raf.
I do have a very overactive imagination though!

I reckon the whole "she didn't know about the other baby" is just some kind of metaphor to hint that Essie also has a baby she doesn't know about - I.e her pregnancy.

Kidnapping a baby is one thing but kidnapping a neonate would be near impossible.

But, this is soapland......

She is a nurse though so would have access, prob right though that she is pregnant herself. Nothing would surprise me though after all the recent storylines.

Yeah two in incubators and one on resus, not sure even Holy will have Essie running put into the cold night air with a baby who is probay being fed through an NG tube. Hope not.

I do still think Essie will have some kind of breakdown and who could blame her? It would be a running storyline though, not just something that happens next episode.

I hope she is pregnant and eventually gets back with Sacha, there's still a lot of fondness and deep friendship there.

She lost her wedding ring too didn't she?

I know but 3p week old triplets will be tiny. May be months before they are even out of their incubator. Possibly weeks before mm holds them. And someone is going tel tell mom as soon as she goes to see them. Its a bit minimisng perm babies if she can walk in and snatch one before mom knows about them. Perhaps she can just have a breakdown about how it should be hers bit isn't and then the ""stress"" can make her sick until she realisses.....

Sasha deserves better than Essie

I know it's soapland but it does annoy me that way that Essie's only role in that hospital seems to be to agonise over things.

@notaflyingmonkey I find Essie really annoying. I don't think her and raf together was believable really. I also don't like the way she ditched sacha and then found someone younger at work.

Sacha is lovely, surely they will rekindle their romance.

Dodntvher and Sacha split because he didn't want more kids? I was always confused about why she then ended up with Raf (infertile?)

Yeah as her and Sacha broke up she relaiaed she couldn't have them but she was too mad he'd been willing to go along with it or something. Them brelaing up never actually made sense

I thought it would be Fredrik. Didn't expect Raf to get shot. Can't really see Ollie coming back from that - frontal lobe pretty important I'd have thought.

Raf's phone call much too long and coherent.

I'd like Essie to get back with Sasha.

Isn't there someone HH could love? I really don't care about Essie or Sasha but I do care about HH and I did care about Raf. Poor Fletch needs a shoulder to cry on so let's hope all this makes Jac a bit softer and keen to comfort him in his loss.

They mentioned the extra baby to a few more staff so I don't think it's likely that the mother won't find out soon.

I couldn't believe Essie was in the briefing at the end and not with Raf.

Maybe she needed to be with her people.

Johnny is so busy I wonder who will help out with Emma? Maybe someone who has so many kids an extra one would go unnoticed?

Is Jac still with Jonny or not? I thought she wasn't but then it seemed she was.

How far in advance do they film Holby? Had Joe already filmed this week's episodes by the time he started strictly?

Just popped over here to reassure you that HH is in the Strictly audience and smiling and whistling and appaluding Joe, so he’s a happy bunny tonight at least

He looked so happy with Joe's performance.
He's great, saw him on celebrity masterchef too (when the chefs went and cooked lunch for the cast/crew), he was just so different from his character.
Did everyone realise that his son in Holby is the real life son of the late actor Pete Postlethwaite?
