Therese - wake up and open your eyes and arms to Paul!

Run, Paige, Run!! Mark only wants you for the contents of your womb!

What is with the creepy men at the minute? Finn, Mark, Jack & Gary make my skin crawl.

That's normal!
I did laugh when Karl strolled in to Marks office with the drugs. No handing it in to someone at the front desk or just calling the police from the hospital. It seems Mark is the only policeman just like Karl is the only doctor in Erinsborough.

MiddleClassProblem · 13/06/2017 20:31

I think that is the front desk. The police set always looks a bit like a something Brad built to me.

Actually quite enjoying the pieces falling into place around Finn. Nell is great. And glad we get to like Piper again too.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 13/06/2017 23:19

a bit like a something Brad built

That is so true! And a phrase I will start using in real life! Grin

I'm looking forward to seeing Finn get his comeuppance too! Just hope he doesn't die as that would be a bit of an anticlimax. Maybe he'll jet off with Xanthe and we'll never see her annoying face ever again.

ComedyofTerrors · 14/06/2017 00:28

Anyone else want get hold of Xanthe and shake her until her 2 brain cells rattle in her empty skull?

I'm afraid Toadies mean face makes me want to send him to the naughty step. He's like a toddler about to have a melt down.

Please, please, don't drag Finn out much longer, his lizard lips are starting to give me nightmares

PensPencilsandRulers · 14/06/2017 11:00

Aw little Nell was such a great actress in those hospital scenes. Such a sweetie.

PensPencilsandRulers · 14/06/2017 11:06

I've been away for a few weeks. Did we find out what the deal was with Shane's sister in law? Why did she leave the police force/who died/what were her and Shane up to when they first arrived?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 14/06/2017 11:17

I don't know why she left the police force (but I have a vague feeling that I am supposed to know - something to do with an accident and some compensation, I think), but when they first arrived, she and Shane were concealing the fact that he'd lost lots of money, had mortgaged and lost the farm, and that she had lent him the money to buy Harold's.

MiddleClassProblem · 14/06/2017 13:47

Yeah, lol we know is that she got compensation from police work. No word in the incident or who the love interest was yet. But who cares when you have a lawn mower.

Fl0ellafunbags · 14/06/2017 23:51

I've just done a marathon. Five episodes back to back! Real athleticism!

What got me through was focusing on Tyler's pretty face and trying to avoid all thoughts of an apron, whipped cream and chocolate 🐞

Smidge001 · 15/06/2017 11:54

This thread dropped off my list so posting for the sake of it.

Do you think a court would really believe 'evidence' that a random (albeit shining light of the community such as Dr K) person brought in? Anyone could have swapped the contents. Ellie could have, just to support her theory.

Katz · 15/06/2017 12:46

I've not watched any of this weeks episodes yet - waiting for DD1 to come back from her school trip - cant wait for a marathon session on sunday

TheSecretMrsFairbrother · 15/06/2017 18:36

DH is back from forrin land today (again, starting to think he's gone off me).

We've saved this weeks episodes for him so he can do a marathon tomorrow whilst he's 'working from home'.

MiddleClassProblem · 15/06/2017 22:08

OMG. I really don't care if Jack leaves the doffing church or not. I gave up caring when he went back and his loopy ex turned up. Just decide already!

I think they are showing the grooming plot quite well for neighbours. Maybe that's because I was reading an article by that girl who ran off with he her teacher to France and how she felt about it all and it's fresh in my head.

MiddleClassProblem · 15/06/2017 22:09

TheSecretMrsFairbrother doubt he's gone off you, prob just visiting Lou or something

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/06/2017 22:25

Yes, TheSecretMrs - are you sure he's not just visiting one of his children living in another country?

Middle - I totally agree about not caring about the Jack church plot. As if they would close the parish if he left! As if we care! As if the church would have kept him on after his behaviour!

Also agree about the grooming plot. I think they've done it much better and more realistically than Corrie.

Xanthe is doing my head in 😩

JayneAusten · 15/06/2017 23:14

Oh FFS I can't believe they're going to drag out this tedious Jack/Church story even more! I don't give a shit what he does.

Fl0ellafunbags · 16/06/2017 00:13

Jack is top of my list of people who need to go in the well. Very soon.

AGnu · 16/06/2017 01:09

Was the camera-person drunk in one of the first scenes today? Can't remember who it was but 2 people were having an intense conversation but I was completely distracted by the wobbly camera & the fact that the faces seemed to be swaying from one side of the screen to the other! Just bizarre!

MiddleClassProblem · 16/06/2017 11:54

I would also like to ask who would want a lawn mower that you have to used every bloody day?

HairsprayQueen · 16/06/2017 12:11

I wondered if that was just bullshit in that it didn't really work at all. The whole story is a bit Hmm

MiddleClassProblem · 16/06/2017 14:43

Well, thankfully Tyler plugged in that one lose wire to fix the lawn mower.

And how are there no more endless extensions happening at the Cannings?

Cherrypie32 · 16/06/2017 18:57

How boring is Jack and the 'leaving/not leaving the church' storyline and Amy just does my head in hanging around, guilting him into/out of decisions.

TheSecretMrsFairbrother · 16/06/2017 20:38

DH has just informed me that he's off to forrin land again next week.

That's four different countries since March.

Oh God, I've married the British Brad Willis.
