What is with the creepy men at the minute? Finn, Mark, Jack & Gary make my skin crawl.

one thing i was wondering about - why is Xanthe wanting to be a nurse, where Ben was being pushed to being a doctor (i have the greatest respect for nurses before i go further - but its harder to become a dr)

Ugh the Finn thing is soooo creepy I can barely watch. I don't think he's sexually grooming Xanthe but he's certainly using her devotion to him for his own nefarious ends. They seem to be ruining her character and don't get me started on Typer. Just let the only functional couple in the neighbourhood be happy FFS! Give Piper something better to do!

I agree that Gary & Therese aren't the ideal couple but I read Stefan Denis somewhere saying that he preferred Paul & Therese to be in conflict rather than loved up, their chemistry works better that way.

And how awkward was that Mark & Paige thing?! Although I've actually come round to liking her and she was always my least favourite character.

But Paul and Terese aren't even in conflict at the mo. It's annoying.

I'm confused by the dog. Was it their dog and they left it with the Mckenzies or whatever their names were? Or did they just nick a dog? Who's dog was it in the first place? Why did they attempt to be cryptic about a dog? Although I'm glad it's there as it was getting a worryingly animal free zone for a while there never see Clementine is it all just to show what a great guy Shane is?

I agree Shane and Mishti might be to do with whatever happened in the past rather than the implied affair. You know when they implement something like that it's normally to give you the wrong end of the stick.

Yes, yes to Paige and Mark getting together to frustrate Jack. That'd throw his hypocrisy over his vocation into stark relief.

But I hope they don't go overdramatic about Mark, grieving and getting overly-attached/ confused about Paige's baby and Katelin. They handled the baby loss storyline well and if they start doing melodramatic/ baby abduction things it would be a real shame.

Preferably Mark gets to the stage he can't stand Jack and fits him up for a crime to get rid of him. Somewhere is due to burn down soon, there hasn't been a fire in a while.

I like Paige and I did like Jack although all he's faffing around is getting on my nerves. I suspect he'll ditch the priesthood and they'll get together just as Mark starts to think he's in with a chance, and he'll completely lose the plot as a result.

Think I agree that the chemistry between Paul and Therese is better when they're not together.

Warming to the new Rebecchi clan quicker than I expected and liking Steph at the mo which is a novelty as she's been one of my least favourite characters since back in the days of Drew & Libby.

Middle can't remember her name but Tyler's real life girlfriend/fiance is Tim Collins daughter, can't remember how she went out of it, weren't her and Paige at uni together

I like the Xanthe thing - although I hate Fin being near her he's so god damn creepy. She just sees the good and the love, very black and white and the type of girl who would fall for all his crap because she just wants to fix it and make everyone happy

Minnie that's the one. She popped up like a month ago one off so don't think she went anywhere. Just isn't a regular character. I guess she's having success elsewhere so not being used much at the mo.

Also I'm confused, is mishti dipis sister or daughter, I'm sure I heard the younger child refer to her as aunt - I'm also sure Shane referred to his wife as Greek but clearly they are Indian
