I read an interview with Martin Compston and he said that in the series he has a very difficult emotional 12 page scene that brought him to tears.

I find it really annoying when the show runner's(Jed) tell lies. Jed, clearly said they Caddy story line was done at the end of season 3 we're now finding out its not the case.

I like the Den Of Geek articles. However, I definitely think it's Hargreaves not Hilton.

Hilton is being sign posted too much IMO

I don't see it as lies. He doesn't have to reveal anything at all and is entitled to mislead if he wants to IMO.

I don't think that interview was that recent, I'm wondering it he had even written all series 4?
But I think maybe it's where everyone got the idea that series 4 was stand alone.

Actually, so far they are explaining the references to previous connections quite well.

Well, its all well and fine to keep story lines alive its bad form when the show runner comes along and claims a story line is done and it turns out we're still on the same story line.
Jed could have said hes not commenting one way or another he chose to say the new season would feature a new story line.

JamieD's name is apparently connected somehow with stuff in series 2 : someone has seen his name on something briefly while rewatching series 2, along with Jimmy's.

Aggghh, I haven't seen the blimmin trailer.

And Jamie? Had my suspicions about him too.
