Disappointed the Maneet situation wasn't explained.

Hastings stepping up and taking that shot cool as you like was about the most exciting thing on telly for yonks. He's definitely the big baddy.

I thought that the "point" of The Caddy was that the criminals would have their own source within the police force.

So is that seperate to "H"?

Hadn't rated this series as much as the previous ones, but this episode really redeemed it!!

Pickle - go back to the scene in Ep 1 where Tim looked into the cafe window and saw Hana there. He definitely recognised her and when he spoke to her at the counter he looked disappointed she didn't seem to recognise him or at least didn't acknowledge him. My guess is they'd had some 'encounter' previously, hence the condom with the DNA. Not sure whether there was any other purpose to that, but there's a definite recognition there.

Did Hilton specifically ask Maneet to use Jamie's computer to get the evidence - if so why? Jamie was in his pocket so he could have asked him directly.

Or was Jamie only in his pocket after he left AC 12 in a huff, as Hilton could then use his (Jamie's) anger at Ted etc. to his advantage?

Also re. Ifield and Hana, was there ever any significance to her fingerprint on the glass which seemed to be focused on? I can't remember if he used it for anything?

I have to say though I loved this episode. Most things were wrapped up well with just enough questions for s5. Fantastic acting all round too.

Sorry if I'm being dim, but why did Ifield have a balaclava etc?

Twitter's providing excellent commentary tonight but I knew we would all appreciate this view of Jodie.

I loved it and I say that as a LOD virgin. Enough resolution but certainly enough open ends to take it forward.

It was only spoilt for me by some utterly unwarranted heckling in the living room, for which there will, yes WILL be repercussions

Jamie was a Hilton plant all along and Maneet set him up in a revenge double-cross of Hilton because she resented being the underdog.

Presumably Maneet was being forced into spying for Hilton because of some misdemeanour he had over her, nothing too serious because she felt able to tell him she'd done enough before going on mat leave. I imagine she was resentful because Jamie was spying in order to advance his career where she was doing it to save hers. .

Anyway never mind who H is, the main question is did Marilyn's visitors leave by 9pm or did they have to revert to covert operations?!
