It sounds like he said son but I think he said "if your mind's made up, I wish you all the best on it" (not sure why).

tribpot · 23/04/2017 22:43

Who died in the second series?

I had to look at Wiki for this, but it was poor Georgia, who got flung out of a window. She was the Jamie of Season 2.

SaintEyning · 23/04/2017 22:43

Wasn't Jackie Laverty's ex husband called Nick? Would explain Nick's lack of connection to Roz's kids

FeralBeryl · 23/04/2017 22:44

Lampshady they've just shown it on bbc1.
So you may get it online now?
It's like fight club though. The first rule of fight club is - we don't talk about fight club Grin
Lots of people on these threads don't like to know about the trailer content.

Half wondering whether I should go back and watch the episodes in Jackie Laverty's house now and see if there any wedding photos up of her and Jimmy Lakewell Wink

Loads of plod died when cars were blown up at start of series two.
Well, I say loads, two or three.

KRG13 · 23/04/2017 22:44

I had a bit of a snigger at Kate looking aghast at the state of Steve's flat i.e. the upturned armchair and some plates.

Sheesh don't come round my gaff unannounced will you

CraicMammy · 23/04/2017 22:45

I love how Nick keeps spelling Jimmy Lakewell's surname for people when he says it

Ciaovenora · 23/04/2017 22:46

There is zero chance Roz would be out of hospital that quickly same with Arnott ,the plot holes are so wide its bordering on ridiclous.

FeralBeryl · 23/04/2017 22:46

Craicmammy yes the spelling out reminds me of the yellow pages advert, 'my name, yes it J.R.Hartley'

OP posts:
DubiousCredentials · 23/04/2017 22:47

Yes basically it looked like Arnott just needs a cleaner.

KRG13 · 23/04/2017 22:48

Yeah Roz would still be waiting for her antibiotics from the hospital pharmacy now if it were true to life

Nowdecide · 23/04/2017 22:48

Anyone else thing Vicky Mclure might be pregnant? Sudden introduction of slightly baggie sweaters, implausibly big parka when everyone else was in shirt sleeves . . .

MILLYmo0se · 23/04/2017 22:49

The female officer that was thrown out the window by the bent vice cop in series 2 thehiphopotomus

conkerpods · 23/04/2017 22:49

I'm being thick....was Roz's arm amputated in hospital or did her husband do it like she claimed?

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 23/04/2017 22:50

Late to the thread because I had to pause midway through.

Realistically there's time for JnotJ to have second thoughts and Coke back "and when exactly was I meant to have downloaded that file? Because I totally wasn't there and. I can prove it."

On the other circle if he's quit because they're all such awful racists then he might not bother.

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 23/04/2017 22:52

I'm sure Ros's hand was amputated neatly in hospital by the surgeons. Well, 99% sure anyway.

Ciaovenora · 23/04/2017 22:53

Amputated in hospital. Am confident she'd need IV AB for at least 3/4 days, before she'd be released.

CopperRose · 23/04/2017 22:53

ShockShockShock

Well I never! What an amazing episode!

I lol'd at Ironside reference & Kate being called out for her daft interview technique.

1. It lives on the skin of carriers in the armpit, groin and buttocks, backing up the "Ifield's Arse" theory.

^ this from the other thread made me proper lol Grin

Nanna50 · 23/04/2017 22:53

Love the title not watching tonight going to save it for next week as the suspense will drive me mad waiting so I'm going to watch the last two together...

LemonRedwood · 23/04/2017 22:53

conkerpods
I thought Ros was blaming her husband for amputating the hand because with her out for the count then next of kin gives consent? I'm not very hot on medical legalities!

tribpot · 23/04/2017 22:53

No, I don't think Ros things Nick cut off her arm (although you can see why she might suspect that given the whole Ifield/saw incident in ep 1). She means he gave consent for the amputation whilst she was unconscious. So she blames him for it.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 23/04/2017 22:55

I put it on the other thread but Jackie's husband was Andrew.

Nowdecide · 23/04/2017 22:56

Yes, consent not cutting it off himself. I think questions would be asked if you turned up in A&E missing a limb.

Elendon · 23/04/2017 22:57

Actually the plot line is very scary and sinister. Thandie Newton is brilliant.

TheHiphopopotamus · 23/04/2017 22:57

The female officer that was thrown out the window by the bent vice cop in series 2

Of course. I'd forgotten about her Blush I don't suppose Ifield counts this series as he wasn't at work?
