Does anyone remember Lakewell, that's L-A-K-E-W-E-L-L bringing Nick some spare clothes after he got called for interview after the stair well incident?

Yes. I think that's significant but I don't know why ... Grin

onedayatatime73 · 30/04/2017 14:53

Yes i think spare clothes significant. Is it to demonstrate they are the same clothing size? Does this have something to do with the biometrics that revealed a different shoe size?

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 30/04/2017 15:00

That guy also plays a solicitor in British film Bullet Boy with Ashley Walters. he is somewhat narcoleptic in that, too.

Think it might just be his methodacting style as 'duty solicitor!

ButtonMooooon · 30/04/2017 15:23

Marilyn I said that about Jodie Velma on here but I think it got lost in all the comments everyone ignored me but I mainly think that as I can't believe someone could brown nose so much Grin

Ollycat · 30/04/2017 15:41

notheroldie I feel your pain!! I started S1 on Friday and have just watched episode 3 of S3 but don't think I'll manage to do the other 3 in time.

I have to say AC12 don't have a great conviction rate!

DispatchReady · 30/04/2017 16:06

Marilyn I can't believe the lengths you and your DP are going to Grinreally making me laugh!

buggerthebotox · 30/04/2017 16:09

I think the spare clothes is significant, yes. Don't know why, though.

Did anyone think the BM who attacked Steve bore no resemblance whatsoever to the BM that was video captured in the alley? I thought the 2nd one looked like Nick...

hippyhippyshake · 30/04/2017 16:35

There were shades of Coronation Street farcery when Kate was pipped at the post coming to arrest Nick. Had she taken the scenic route or somethingConfused

SapphireStrange · 30/04/2017 16:55

Hadn't she actually come to arrest Roz? I don't get why she didn't.

Fizzingwhizbees · 30/04/2017 17:14

Well she did sort of take the scenic route right? AC12 initially believed Roz (and presumably Nick) were at the hospital and Kate only found out she'd been discharged once she got there, giving Roz a bit of time, no thanks to flipping Jodie, to arrange things. Not sure if it was explained why Roz wasn't then taken in, perhaps something related to police procedure or because AC12 want to see what card she plays with Nick before questioning her?

Fizzingwhizbees · 30/04/2017 17:16

So many questions still Grin T-minus 4 hours!

CoolCarrie · 30/04/2017 17:28

It was the lack of an appropriate adult in the scenes with Farmer that has annoyed me, having watched the drama about West called Appropriate Adult, I was surprised that JM would make that error.

buggerthebotox · 30/04/2017 17:41

Maybe it wasn't an error, though, cool. I always thought that Solicitor was too crap. Why is he always the "duty" one? There must be other solicitors on duty.

Farmer not only has no appropriate adult, he hasn't decent legal representation either. Funny that....Hmm

CoolCarrie · 30/04/2017 17:56

True, that how we know he is innocent

Muddlingalongalone · 30/04/2017 17:57

3 hours to go. Have pre-warned my 2 I can't cope with messing around at bedtime tonight!
Am contemplating takeaway - since they had party food & don't need dinner.
S3 finale came up on my timehop yesterday!!

CopperRose · 30/04/2017 18:07

I'm currently re-watching series 2! Grin

Totes won't be finished in time for tonight though ShockShock

NorfolksGiven · 30/04/2017 18:12

I'm on series 3 episode 4! Watching on my iPad while making tea.

That's dedication right there.

tribpot · 30/04/2017 18:17

Marilyn, your DH is the best. I love the fact you have nearly as complicated a plot to follow tonight just be allowed to watch the complicated plot the rest of us are trying to follow.

Have you considered what you will do if they are late? I think they will assume as they have driven for two hours you will ask your 'friend Ted' if you can be half an hour late to his to at least enable them to come in and have a cuppa?

Are you monitoring their flight to see if it lands on time? That's just basic coppering.

L-A-K-E-W-E-L-L brought Nick some extra clothes because his original clothes has been taken away for forensic examination in the attempted murder of Steve.

ktel1 · 30/04/2017 18:52

Tribot- basic coppering lol

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 30/04/2017 19:01

Not enough basic coppering to be honest, it'll be basic coppering that solves this...

^ Who am I?

Just popping in to wish everyone good luck with their viewing tonight. No sudden onset sickness, demanding DCs, DPs or Hs, no unwelcome unexpected guests and definitely no power cuts. Turn your phones off and concentrate.

All that said, I have non fans in the house Confused Wish ME luck.

Less than 2 hours to go now.

ButtonMooooon · 30/04/2017 19:04

I am going to try and stay away from the thread tonight as we quite often get behind and if I try to read the thread in time with my viewing I often find something out before it happens on my screen

Stays away from thread until approximately 7 seconds in Grin

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 30/04/2017 19:08

My plan is to watch, hopefully without distractions, then to read the thread and then to watch on iplayer again tomorrow Smile Keep my place warm for me.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 30/04/2017 19:08

Marilyn have you sorted Maneet to watch CCTV and Traffic cams??

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 30/04/2017 19:11

Beans I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, Marilyn should've
stolen acquired some Police 'Do Not Cross' tape and cordoned off the house and access, if not the whole street Grin Job Done.

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 30/04/2017 19:14

LOL , and maybe some forensic suits and masks and one of those tent things!
